Miscellanea for MadnessA wand'ring mind brings troubled thoughts,More Like This
A lost one even more.
When grief o'rflows a heart's calm well,
The madman's song does soar.
He'll sing a song of times gone by,
Regret for all he's done.
In riddles he'll speak, in madness he'll rant
In awkward joke and pun.
He'll tell each tale, which each a pint,
Until each tale is through.
An' when he's realized he's done
He'll tell each one anew.
One line filled with sadness,
Another one with glee.
Another tells of some event
Which he could not foresee.
For one who lives in times gone by
There is no "now" but "then".
"That which will be" is "now" the same.
God save his soul. Amen
