This is old.
I wake up about an hour later than I wanted to, feeling a bit off, so I look outside my window and it's raining. Great
I spend about 35 minutes scrambling to get ready, clearing sand out of my backpack, fixing my hair since it's in a big afro, Ready to go.
So I'm walking, I'm walking, jumping over puddles, and I get halfway there, then Boom! Thunder, heavier rain, my socks are soaked, my pants are soaked, and I'm starting to get paranoid because my laptop top, phone, books, etc. are in my backpack and I don't need to add more to list of things that has ruined my day so far.
Then I about-face back to my room, and now my shoes are wet, and the rain has rendered my umbrella useless so my shirt is getting wet.
