Fear the ReaperMore Like This
Through times of despair,
Know that the Reaper is there.
Observant is he amongst the shadows,
All should fear what is beyond the dark horizon.
Those who fear the darkness cannot fathom
That their fears should lie in that which is hidden within.
They fear what they do not understand
And fall victim with the rest of the world.
Fear the Reaper, but I fear him not.
Is it strange to understand what others refuse to know?
Some silent killer is what he may be
He knows my thoughts, yet to me no harm is made
But Fortune shall not smile upon me for long
As Father Time comes to slay all in his wake.
Despair his coming with every breath
For Death is something I no longer dread.
