The life of a Mary Sue
Part I, Mary Sue's point of view
Hello, my name is Mary Lucia Jewel Emerald Kristina Natasha Sue. It is a pretty long name, but my friends just call me Emerald, because I shine like one! Or so, they say. I am fifteen years old. I have lots of friends, of course, but no one as good as me. It's not as if I am bragging or anything. It's just that, it's true. I have waist-long hair the color caramel, and my eyes are blue and as bright as the sun. People also say that I am very skinny and that I have a beautiful smile.
My friend, Haley, says that I have too many talents. That's because, well, I do! I can dance, draw, sing, etc., pretty well! Even when I fart, I am still cool. That's because I am the most popular girl in school. Everyone loves me, because I am precious and I always help everyone out. But it also sucks sometime
What Life Gives You: chapter 1Karkat's hand was placed on his boyfriend's cheeck in attempt to calm him down. He was panting heavily, almost to the point of hyperventalating. "Soosh." he cooed. He wasn't sure what had happened to get him so worked up but he had a pretty good idea.More Like This
Gamzee's homelife wasn't exactly perfect since his parents (well adoptive parents) had found out that he is as gay as Freddie Mercury; which was a fitting analogy considering the Queen singer is one of his idols. Karkat leaned on the bar, peaking his head over the side to watch his churro flip through the air, somersaulting off all its sugar, until it landed in someone else's gondola over a hundred feet below. He gulped audibly, leaning back in his seat.
"OH GOD, OH GOD, WE'RE GOING TO DIE!" Karkat shouted.
Gamzee had his relaxed smile on his face and he draped his arm around his best friend's shoulders. "We're going to be just fine, bro. The ride is just taking a nap for a bit."
Karkat turned his head to look at the tall teen. "Taking a nap while we are a hundred feet above the ground at the very top?" he snapped. "You're the one who persuaded me to get on this death trap and now look what happened!"
Makara had convinced Karkat to get on the Farris wheel, promising that he would be right there
