DeviantART (font) Formatting Guide!IntroductionMore Like This
Did YOU Know that you can use the < font > tag in various custom boxes AND journals?
Well, yes you can! No Premium Membership REQUIRED!
To prove my point, below!
When you're ready to move on, mouse over the "The Tag" section.
Did you enjoy the awesome presentation of the "Test." text above? Here's the source code to that:
<font face="Droid Sans" size="7">Test.</font><font face="Arial" size="3">Test.</font><font face="Tahoma" size="1">Test.</font><font face="Oswald, Droid Sans, Arial" size="5">Test.</font><font face="Brainly, Nunito, Testt, Times New Roman" size="4">Test.</font><font face="Helskini, Klavika, FF Meta, Segoe UI, Tahoma" size="7"><b>LOL!<b></font>
What goes into that is <font> tag is basically the "size" and "face" subtags! If you need more expiation or info, move on below!
deviantART support the so-called "font sizes" in any range from 1 to 7!

dArama - ISSUE ONE - Love.More Like This
The dynamic between core staff, volunteer staff, and the community can at times be pure quality dArama.
It's worth noting that for years I've worked pretty hard to remain neutral on community politics. Today, I'm going to shatter that concept.
Needless to say, I am extremely politically aware of the inner workings of the deviantART community. I read *a lot* of journals, comments, forums, chat rooms. I have fake accounts. I spy.
But I don't spend my time talking politics, instead I focus internally at deviantART designing technologies and implementing understandings with core staff to address the issues I see pop up.
It's time to take a moment to be a bit more petty.
In the inner workings of our politics exists the soul of deviantART. What is this place? What was it meant to do? What does it do? What could we do better? And it's the politics that give insight into how well the greater plan is running.
There's $core staff who are employees or contractors and work 8+

Regarding SOPA and deviantART (update)Our view at deviantART regarding SOPA is that it's probably a bad idea. There should be better ways to deal with mass infringement on the Internet than this. This bill in our view can be seen as a threat to the open Internet itself and this is very hard to digest or support.More Like This
I personally have found information at the EFF and at Public Knowledge to be very helpful in understanding what is at stake.

The Timeline of DeviantArtThe Timeline of deviantARTMore Like This
In 2014, DeviantArt turned 14 years old. Fourteen years is a long time, some of you reading this may be younger than that. I've gathered some historical information with the help of Moonbeam13 and some members of the Community Relations team to help enlighten those of you who have joined in recent years and missed out on a chunk of DeviantArt's life.
I hope you enjoy taking a step back in time!
Please note: it is extremely difficult to track down some events in DeviantArt's history (in particular, the first few years) and that some dates are only approximate.
August: tech13 becomes the first recipient of the prestigious Deviousness Award.

Break-Down 'n Samples for Displaying Images on DA! This is an EXTENSION of my Flash Guide~!More Like This
I've decided to move the written info to this journal so that I could offer an easier visual display to keep things apart. This is done so that you can copy-paste the code to make use of it instead of having to write it all one letter at a time. Of course you still can do that if you prefer, but if you're like me, the easiest option is always the best one~!
Hover your mouse over the purple-like-buttons to see the code in action!
**In case you can't play Flashes on your computer, here is a still picture to show you how to get the thumb code!**
Facts about the Thumb Code ::
The thumb code works great when the image is 150pixels or smaller. When the image is larger than 150 pixels it is better to ADD the word BIG into the code after the : and before t
