And in this dark harvest of season
My life has completely lost reason,
For which or against to decide.
All lost in a savage and endless, bleak tide
In sadness and in kindness
In light and in darkness.
In a boat made of hope
I shall sail to tomorrow,
In a winding hurricane
Made of treachery and sorrow.
There's a spear, endless, and colossal spear...
Piercing, slashing though my head.
Starting somewhere in heaven,
Ending somewhere in hell.
Fighting, burning, crying, crashing.
Are the armies within.
In my head they are all thrashing.
On the heaven's and hell's whim.
To be light or to be darkness.
A perpetual array.
It's not merely my choice,
But the choice of the way.
It's an option of the voice,
It's a thin line of gray.
Is it a choice forced by fate,
Is it a pre-set time and date?
Or a choice to which I myself sway?
But here's our story anyway .
"Nothing that I do will matter.
As all things will merely shatter!"
All my hopes thus darkness scatter,
As it shoves me a decree.
As it si
My friend MarieI am lucky to have the greatest friend in the world. She has been there for me and I have for me when we need it. I call her my sister and she calls me her brother. That's what everyone knows us as too. We don't have the same blood of the same family, but does that really matter? The only important thing is that we love each other. There have been times where we have gotten into some pretty bad fights. In the end after its all said and done, we make up and hug and forget about it. There have been things that she has done that have made me feel disgusted with her and have almost killed me. I'm not gonna say what some things are, but there are some things I can tell you. I won't say alot just that some of the guys that she dated were a-holes. I'm glad and lucky to have a friend and sister as great as her.More Like This
Change is Fast "I'm telling you Tyler, you need to break up with him. you don't look happy with him," I said with anger. But I couldn't hide it. I felt like taking my iron fist and letting it introduce itself to his ugly-ass face.More Like This
High school is with out a doubt the most boring thing anyone will ever experience. I don't care how fun people say it is. I say it really sucks.
As the bell rang for eighth period our class took our break. Harvey being the short and stubby asshole he is, comes up and is hugging all over Tyler like a magnet. I felt like taking my 9mm and pumping his guts full of lead. Too bad it was only a fantasy.
After school I felt like crawling in a small dark hole. After what happened to downtown Dallas, I won't even have time to even look for a hole.
After the whole day worrying about Tyler, I forgot it was the last day of school. I was heading for the mall when I got an unusual call. I answered it expecting to know
Change is Fast, chapter: 2 That sound that terrible sound. It's the sound that you hear when you turn on the t.v. only a 1000 times louder. It's the sound that will drive a dog so mad you would rather kill it than hear it squeal. It's that sound that you have to magnify to really understand how it can hurt. Like a drone, it drowns out all other sounds and makes you focus on it. I never want to hear that torturous sound again.More Like This
When I heard that sound I knew what just happened. I looked around not knowing what I should find. Unfortunately what I found looked like hell. The mushroom cloud signified the death and destruction of what just happened. The beautiful blue sky was replaced with black smoke. Dallas was no longer a city, but a crater. I looked at Tyler who was crawling over the seat into my lap for comfort. I couldn't do anything, but give that to her. Her crying wasn't noticeable until I could hear clearly. That's when I held her in my arms like a newborn and rocked back and forth to
Change is Fast, chapter: 3 On the desperate drive home the left part of my chest felt like a nail was being shoved from the inside out. It also felt wet and I didn't know why. Every mile we got closer to home the damage got lighter and lighter. When we got to Lewisville it looked like someone lined up at the least, a thousand people and shot them all down like an execution. Then in the mirror I noticed a familiar car (even though it looked like it came out of a demolition derby). It was Juan and Raul!More Like This
"Juan! Over here!" I yelled with a relief. As they stopped and noticed it was me, they got out of Juan's car and ran to me faster than Olympic runners on steroids. "Oh my God am I glad to see you guys," I said. As he sounded in a hurry, Juan said "We have to get going! I got a call from Kayla, and she's in the hospital with about half of our school!" Looking at Juan's Evo I knew he wasn't going to get back home fast enough in that piece of crap. "Hop in my truck. I only have a few
Change is Fast, chapter: 4 We got about 150 yards away from the Rave til we could start to see it. I should have thought about it ahead of time. Tyler just settled down and was talking about what she was going to do over the summer. Telling me how she was planning to go see her dad in Florida. Then she was going to go get her cat up from North Carolina and bring her back home. What she was thinking about doing with her hair. Something about extentions and peircings. She went on and on about things she wanted to do and have done. Practically her life story.More Like This
She just finished her story and was about to say how fun it would be when she fell silent. I looked over at her to see what she was doing taht made her shutup. I slowed down and pulled over on the side of the road. "Tyler, are you okay?" I asked with uncertainty. Her eyes started to water and her breathing increased more and more. She was starring at almost nothing. I tried to focus at what she was looking at, I couldn't make
Change is Fast, chapter: 5 Pulling up to the hospital seamed like we finally reached heaven. The hospital was obviously overflowing, because half dead bodies were littered all over the parking lot. I knew for a fact that the Holocaust was only a county jail compared to this. There was a fire hydrant busted open and was spraying a large amount of water all over the parking lot. Even though it was drenched in water the color of it was red. It was a pool of blood. Most of the people that died out there actually drowned in the pool of blood.More Like This
As I walked closer to the building I noticed that a helicopter was half buried in the ground next to the hospital. The blast wave would have easily knocked it right out of the sky. The rotors were ripped off and catapulted in the side of the hospital.
Getting closer to the helicopter I could hear a faint voice over the radio. I took the head set off of the mangled body. "Hello," I said hoping for a response. Then a voice responded, "4-13 this
