"Oh for goodness sake!" I growled, backing away from the mirror. For the third time in a row I'd managed to make a mistake with my eyeliner, or "guyliner" as my sister Aurora liked to call it. I was so nervous. My friend Eric was coming over from America to stay with me for a few months. I'd met Eric after seeing him perform with a band in a bar in America. We'd been good friends since. I'd had to move back home to Ireland after some family issues. Sadly, with mum's passing away, I'd had to stay in Ireland. However, I was still in contact with Eric almost every day. We hadn't let the distance ruin our friendship. I glanced down at my watch, I had five minutes before I had to leave to pick Eric up from the airport.
