12th Doctor X Reader anything for a loved oneThe loud wooping sound of the TARDIS didn't faze anybody as it appeared in a small alleyway next to a fish and chip shop in central London. You walked the TARDIS with Grin on your face with the Doctor with his usual frown look on his face. You looked at him frowned copying his expression. He looked at you and frowned even more at your expression.More Like This
"what's wrong (name)?" he asked raising his bushy eyebrows.
"Nothing. What's the matter with you?" you asked back.
"No offence but you always have that look that some slapped you in the face," you told him crossing your arms.
He stared at you in confusion; not really knowing what to say to that. You giggled and skipped out the alleyway into the open. The Doctor still stood there trying to find an answer until he heard a loud rumble. What was that? a monster? and alien? he asked himself hopping you were okay as ran after you. He heard the rumbling sound again but saw monster or alien, so what was it. He heard the sound for the t

The Doctor, who was tinkering away at the console of the TARDIS with glee, heard your panicked yell and his head shot straight up. The last thing he remembered you saying was that you were going to look for Christmas decorations. He had waved you off into some corner of the place that may or may not have even had them. Christmas was not a thing he thought of often. It was a human holiday that made little impact on his life.
Your voice sounded more urgent. Had you wandered off into the wrong room and walked into something dangerous? He left what he was doing and ran down the hallway he had sent you on. He went as quickly as his feet could carry him. When he finally got to you - in the exact place he'd directed you towards, of course! - he wished he hadn't gone so quickly. The Doctor leaned against the doorframe, pinching the bridge of his nose. His eyes closed.
"Do I even want to know how this happened?" He asked, his tone hinting on amused.
"N-No, you probably don'

is holding. The theme was 'Beginning', I hope you enjoy!
It was the beginning of your new life with The Doctor. He had helped you settle into your new room. He also helped you find your room when you got lost! Everything was so different, so new. Last week you went to high school everyday and when you went home you were your father's punching bag. Now you were traveling time and space in a telephone box!
You had just finished saving a planet with The Doctor. He told you the name but you couldn't remember it at this very moment. The planet's corrupt ruler was planning on blowing up the planet for he's own purpose but The Doctor stopped him easily. You helped him,of coarse you did, but he was really the heart and soul of the whole mission.
At the moment, you were sitting down on a park bench as The Doc
Lingering Shadows [The Doctor x Reader]You had a formulaic and boring life. You woke up in your plain apartment, went to your average retail job, came home and ate alone, and repeated the whole cycle. Every day that you could ever remember had been this way, since you had set out on your own in the world. You moved to London and thought everything was going to be great. It wasn't. It was dull. Every day, you felt yourself dulling as well. Things didn't seem exciting, there was no adventure or joy to what you did. You just followed a path all day, every day.More Like This
Until you saw the strange man in a crowd. He stuck out more than anyone else did. You didn't quite understand what it was that drew your eye to him, but you knew instantly that he was new. He had life in his eyes, and was full of curiosity and wonder. All from a second of seeing him before he ran off, like he was chasing after something. You changed a bit that day. So did the world around you.
You started to notice things. It was a very subtle change, at first. You'd see

You crossed your arms over your chest, frowning down at your boss as he tinkered with something beneath you. You saw some kind of screwdriver hanging out of the corner of his mouth as he fiddled with wires and hardly paid any attention to you.
He looked up at you, taking the screwdriver out of his mouth. He grinned that grin that - no matter how much you didn't want it to happen - made you melt a little inside. You were not invulnerable to the charms of Jack Harkness.
"Well, Merry Christmas!" He replied oh-so cheerfully...and then went right back to his work. You sighed in a huff.
"Jack, you promised. One day off." You said, leaning against the railing in front of you. You propped your head up in one of your hands.
Though he was looking away from you, you saw a spark light up in his eyes. His hands instantly stopped their work. A small, secret smile played on your face. You knew that would get him. He never broke promises, especia

Just one more.
One more to make the hurt stop.
Why, why, why?
"Hello, ________, are you in there?"
The voice of Jack Harkness yanked you out of your spacing out and your mind crashed back down to Earth. He stood in front of you, looking confused and mildly amused. You gave him a nod to let him know you were focused again. He smiled.
"Thought I'd lost you for a second! C'mon, let's get moving."
You had been on this adventure with him for about a week, following some unknown alien signature that he was curious about. For the last few days, you had been sinking. You thought the adventure, the chase and all, were fun, but your unhappiness was growing. You were spacing out more and spending a lot of the downtime you had by yourself. You didn't think Jack even noticed. He only noticed when you were blan
