Robin Williams - May you finally find peace.More Like This
They will say:
He had a spark.
He made me smile.
He made me laugh.
He was more than a face in the crowd.
He will never know what he meant to others.
But is that just Robin Williams, or isn't that all of us.
Depression tells us, no matter what anyone else has to say, it has exclusive rights on the truth. But depression tells us lie after lie. Depression hates you more than anyone else could. Depression repeats and multiplies all the hurts the world dishes out.
Depression does not know your true value.
No matter how loudly depression shouts, there is reason not to listen. Please know that whatever hate it may spew, you are worth more because you are you.*

YourChoice Features Vol. 5First of all, I'd like to say Happy Birthday to DeviantART!!! Also coming up this month is my own "birthday" of sorts -- August 18th marks the beginning of my 7th year here on dA. I am SO glad that I found this amazing community of artists. It has tremendously helped me grow as a person and is the reason I found my passion in photography. I am happy to call DeviantART my home base. I can't imagine what life would've been without it. My photography, this website, this community, you guys,, have gotten me through some pretty tough times. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all for the ongoing support throughout these last 6 years.More Like This
Watch out for some new photos, updates, polls, and maybe even a contest very soon! I am not dead! ; )
This journal is a continuation of the YourChoice series, in which I take your prompts and create small features for them. Hope you enjoy this one, I thought it was a pretty fun and unique prompt to do.

Updated Rules and Guidlines There have been a lot of inquiries lately about why certain submissions were declined. I would like to clear some things up and hopefully make the guidelines a little more understandable.More Like This
First I would like to say that though a lot of rules and guidelines are black and white, there are definitely quite a few grey areas that aren't always easy to explain. That being said, I hope this new presentation of them is a little more helpful. I will always do my best to answer your questions or inquiries about submissions, but at the same time, as the group is growing and I do have a personal life, I don't always have time to explain why things are declined, so at times you may just be pointed to a certain selection of the submission guidelines. Also, if you feel the need to be rude and condescending about a declined submission, don't expect an answer back. I already feel like crap enough of the time, thank you very much. ; )
NAWAKNawak-Factory is a unique group that shares the idea that anything and everything, even the most insignificant object, situation, or piece of nature, could be a great subject as soon as we give it the same attention and intention level as we usually do for things, people, or situations that are generally considered as "beautiful", "interesting", or in this case, "photo-worthy". This is the "Nawak" philosophy.More Like This
