Stolen Artwork Part IIIHere we are again.More Like This
This time it's a Chinese company selling on my watercolour painting as cheap linen prints:
Here's my stolen work: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/216112389/ariel-watercolor-print-disney-poster-art?ref=shop_home_active_7
They've taken mine down but the store is still active with other people's artwork! Let's try to get their store shut down!
And not just mine! I recognize a lot of the artwork but don't know the artists. If you know who the art belongs to please let me know, or contact them! Additionally, I would massively appreciate it if any of you with an Etsy account could report the shop and report the item.
As I've said before, I put a lot of time and effort into all my work, so to have it stolen without a thought for the artist is painfully frustrating. Please help me take this thief off the market!

users that leave hate comments will be blocked, straight up, no warnings.
Why do people go apeshit when you block them?I have a feeling it's an underlying pyschological hangup about rejection and disapproval. Otherwise, someone would just say 'well screw you, random internet person' and be on their merry way. As opposed to RAGEQUITTING TEH FANDOM, deleting all their artwork, and then writing a journal about me whilst screaming their head off like a 5 year old.More Like This
I don't block often. And if anything, I usually unblock after a cooling down period between both parties so that things can be smoothed over. I think cooling off periods are vital. What is the point in continuing to debate back and forth in an open, public forum unyieldingly? Blocking cuts it off at the head and forces both parties to step back, especially when you indicate you DON'T WANT TO ARGUE A CERTAIN TOPIC and the person decides to anyway. This is my page and my gallery. If I say I don't want to debate a particular subject at the moment on MY PAGE and you continue to do so anyway, that is di
Wait ... What? Grammar? The English language is the shizz, this I am painfully aware of. There are so many slang words - as you can see from the first sentence - and so many words from other languages folded into everyday speech that it’s a wonder those of us born in English speaking countries can even manage its intricacies.More Like This
It doesn’t help that the age of texting requires us to shorten words and leave out punctuation just to get a message to fit. That tendency has an unfortunate habit of bleeding over into real written communication, where it does not belong.
Below are a few examples of incorrect word usage, capitalization, and punctuation that I’ve been noticing in quite a few places, including stories. I’ve even added a couple of my own problem words which give me fits because I ain’t perfect! Hope this helps:
Brake and Break = A Brake is a device for slowing or stopping a vehicle. To Break is to smash something, ignore something (like a
Saw TMNT. I don't have words.I don't think I've ever hated a movie so much... I just... I don't have any words to adequately explain how awful this movie made me feel. The blatant sexism and mischaracterization literally made me sick. My heroes, acting like that... ignoring something like that, basically condoning it. I don't literally don't have any words for how fucking sick I feel.More Like This
I'm hurting and I feel betrayed and confused. I know most people don't take the turtles so personally... or most characters, for that matter... but TMNT is part of the reason I'm even alive today. They were literally my light in some of the darkest years of my life. They made me feel powerful, like I could be a hero, like I could be better - that I could fight back and I could get through everything that was going on. I am literally tearing up over this stupid shit I am so upset. It's been brewing all day since I've seen it and I feel like I'm going to explode.

So I just saw the new TMNT movie...& it sucks, just like I thought it would, though in some ways, worse than I expected. TERRIBLE dialogue, little to no character development, extremely ridiculous everything, completely shallow & without heart. It's just plain bad, & surprisingly, that's no fault of the questionable casting & designs as originally guessed, but rather due to some of the most dreadful writing & cinematography I've seen in recent years.More Like This

Spamming Groups RantSo I opened up my deviantArt account today and BAM! The number of new messages had skyrocketed. When I look to find out why, I see that one group in particular has posted 261 new deviations all at once. That's not counting the 100 or so from yesterday - all submitted at the same time.More Like This
I noticed that orangebarmy made a journal entry on this same subject so let me say I am echoing and seconding that rant. Here is what I do when a group submits that many new deviations in one fail swoop - I hit the X without ever opening any of them. I delete them without looking at a single one.
If this continues I will unwatch the group. I'm sorry, but I can't properly appreciate the effort people have put into deviations when there are so many sitting there at once. It is a shame because I have discovered new writers and new artists that I really like through that group, it is one of the first groups that new people join.

Tracing is Not Referencing (Tracing FAQ)I feel like this needs to be explained, since with the recent string of tracing drama around some particular people I've notice a lot of confusion going on. So I'll try to explain for people who may be confused on the subject. If anyone has a topic that they think I should add or discuss, just let me know. If you want to share this journal, then go ahead. No need to ask!More Like This
Referencing and Tracing
Tracing and referencing are NOT the same thing.
Here's the distinction most experienced artists would make on the two subjects.Referencing = Having some pictures nearby to show you how things are done. They're not under your drawing, they're all around so you can see and remind yourself of the proper way to draw something. You're using them as tools to draw your own thing. References are there to keep you on track, but you're doing your own work.Tracing = You've taken a picture (or more. You can trace from several pictures on one piece) and put it underneath your o

Where the words hang ominously in the air,

It was not the kind of silence that made you squirm,
But the occupied kind,

Always having to come up with words for conversation.
I know it sounds silly,
But things like that party

Not that I don't appreciate your offer,
But it's just something that's sort of a bother
Verbalized words often times fail me.
Maybe that's why I don't do so good socially.

How to beat procrastination (part 2)Most of the excuses for not drawing is lacking of ideas. On part 1 of this journal I explained why I find it useful to keep a notebook with you, and to write down your ideas whenever possible.More Like This
This second part is about developing the habit of drawing. Hope you find it useful!
Create the habit of drawing
First thing to know about creating new habits is that it works kinda like inertia law:
"An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion continues in motion."
Which means that the more you postpone your drawings the more you'll feel like delaying them. This procrastination abyss can be endless. For instance, I didn't draw anything in 2013 until the end of August when I bought my fi

How to beat procrastination (part 1)As I said on a previous submission, I'm planning to make some tutorials on the upcoming December. I NEED HELP AND ADVICEMore Like This
Are any of my watchers Graphic Designers or have worked to design company logos? If you have, please read on!
I have some great news!
My DA page got me some business as a designer I am to design a logo for a brewery!
So here is where the advice comes in.
I am 18 and I am just getting started as a freelance artist, and I am looking for advice on what is proper. I do not know what I should ask to be paid, what rules I should make around my finished work, or how to put together a proper contract or something to protect me and my work. Do any of you have resources or helpful advice?
Thank you for being so awesome Watchers. Looking to get to know you all more.
Below is one of my newest works and a small feature.

Flabnbone's Feature Week 56# Hello LoveliesMore Like This
Summer continues and so do the road trips! This week, I went to Phillip Island. It's a relatively large island, southeast of the city. From my place, it takes about 2 hours to get there. But since it is holiday period, I think it too close to 3 hours instead. But that doesn't matter. I enjoy road trips, with the windows down and music pumping!
The main attraction of Phillip Island is penguin watching. I watched the penguins when I was little, so we didn't stay for that. Instead, we went to Warrook Farm and the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory.
Next week, I am planning another road trip. This time, to King Lake. Apparently there is a very nice vintage style cottage there called Rosewood Cottage (even the name sounds appealing!)
