So Godzilla 2000 did well at the box office-in Japan mind you, it bombed in the United States but whatever, this isn't about the box office. The thing is, Toho decided to continue the franchise there on in but rather than a film that takes place wher ethe previous film left off, they decided to reboot the series by making a film that's a direct sequel to the original. Yes, they can do that and yes they altered the story of the original film a bit just for the sake of the film's story. Enter Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, the 24th film in the franchise and once again utilizes a new monster this time called Megaguirus. So how does it fare up? Well here's what happens this time.
