Give it a moment to load. Creature lottery winner from my Patreon. They wanted this super neat critter called a Leucrotta which is described as “the swiftest of all beasts, about the size of an ass, with a stag’s haunches, a lion’s neck, tail and breast, badger’s head, cloven hoof, mouth opening right back to the ears, and ridges of bone in place of rows of teeth—this animal is reported to imitate the voices of human beings.” I wanted to try and make it a somewhat believable critter and used it as an exercise in mammal anatomy.

For my Biodiversity of Earth class, we all did a presentation on a certain "Biodiversity hotspot", and my group got the Cerrado in Southern America. Now that our presentations are over, we all had to chose one animal from the region and make some sort of "visual representation". I chose this guy... and made it easy on myself by drawing him. This is our final, we are getting it done early so we will have one less thing to worry about when that time comes in a few weeks.

Red-legged Seriema or Crested Cariama (Cariama cristata)
75 to 90 cm (30 to 36 in) long and weighs about 1.5 kg, with a fairly long neck, tail, and legs. The plumage is medium brown above with black markings; pale brown on the head, neck, and breast; and white on the belly. Song has a quality described as "a cross between 'the serrated bark of a young dog and the clucking of turkeys'.
Grasslands, like the Cerrado, Marshlands or Wetlands
Multilevel consumer, Primary Carnivorous
Human interference and habitat: the exact number is hard to tell as many will sing together, and calls echo, causing confusion. More often heard than seen, is vanishing the quickest in Uraguay, not part of the Cerrado.
Arcanine was always called the "Legendary Pokémon" despite never even being a pseudo-Legandary - let alone Legendary at all. It's a pretty powerful fire Pokémon, but I feel like it's missing pizazz. Maybe a Mega Evolution will make this Pokémon even better.
Okay, since NeoGenesis Pokémon Cards came out, I realised how awesome Sneasel was - being a Dark/Ice type. Weavile added improvements, having deady base speed and attack stats. With a Mega Evolution, it could potentially be even more deadly, and I'm envisioning maybe seeing visibly that this Pokémon is an Ice type - it could possibly boost defense.
As with most Pokémon found in the beginning routes, they evolve early, and basically never improve - save a couple of moves learnt when leveling up. Mightyena was always one of my favorite Pokémon and I get excited when it evolves from Poochyena... But then the "coolness" fades after a while and it becomes quite boring. I think if another type was added it could make it more powerful, because I really hate how weak the Pokémon becomes compared to the rest of my team at much higher levels.
Well, the PokéDex entries are allways going on about how Ninetails can afflict curses for 1000s of years... Did anyone forget it's just a fire Pokémon? I was always disappointed when Pokémon were given new types and move-sets, and seeing as Ninetails can already learn a lot of Psychic and Ghost type attacks, adding one of them as a type could mean that Ninetails can take advantage of it's STAB to boost the power of Psychic/Ghost type attacks.
Once again, the same story. I honestly believed that Golduck was Water and Psychic, and when I actually caught one and had big visions for it as a good team member, but then I realised it was water type... Just water? Really? I thought that cool gem thingy on it's head could do something cool like channel psychic powers. and with Psyduck getting weird headaches and stuff, it'll be awesome if it's like suppressed power, which is released when it becomes a Golduck.
Skarmory is a basic Pokémon with no post or pre-evolutionary forms, it's flying/steel type, it's a bird that's not one of the basic Pidgey-wannbes in beginning routes... It was even hard for me to catch! I always had respect for this Pokémon but it always seemed a bit lacking... I want MORE Skarmory!
HAHA, this is one entry I was unsure about myself, but damn, when my Wailmer evolved into the cutest Pokémon I ever saw (not to mention it evolved at level 40), I imagined something a bit more interesting to occur. Instead we see, not only the biggest Pokémon in existence - it fucking FLOATS. It literally has no mass. People have calculated that with it's weight and body size, it would fucking float in the sky. What's cooler than a flying water-type which is so huge it can probably cast shadows on the biggest cities in the games! Wailord with LEVITATE, and it's a LORD literally, it should get a crown or something.
