Chapter 3: More MysteriesMore Like This
The village was in chaos. There were people crying in the shelters and men preparing for war. Sakura sat in her room looking out her window. The same place she ended up at when she went to see that other person. Sakura looked over to her mother’s trunk. She hesitated for a moment, this was not the place or time to be doing this. She opened the trunk and pulled out the notepad. She grabbed a pen from her desk and made her way down the halls. When she reached the chamber door, there was an unnerving silence in the doorway that screamed in her ears. Sakura pulled the door open and walked inside. She shut the door tightly behind her. She turned around to look at the figure that was supposed to be living inside the room. She opened her notebook and flipped to a clean page. As she flipped through the pages she noticed the dates on the pages. They were up to date as if she had been going into the room every day like normal.
She is still stable. There is no change in her appeara
Chapter 4, Let's Meet AgainMore Like This
The next morning Fai woke early and watched the sun rise over the crumbling buildings. He sipped a cup of tea as the men began to pack up their weapons and backpacks.
“What are you doing?” Fai asked a man with a fairly large gun over his shoulder.
“Didn’t you hear?” he responded as he placed a canteen in one of the pockets of his backpack, “We’re going to scout out the area to find mutants and see what we can harvest for meat. The men, myself included, are sick and tired of bread. We need meat.”
Fai placed his hand on his chin in thought, “I understand,” he mumbled under his breath. “I guess I should come along, then.”
“You don’t have to, Mage-sama,” Seishiro said walking up to the two men, “I don’t see a need for you to come along.”
Fai smiled his trademark smile and grabbed his backpack, “I can’t let you have all the fun now can I?” He looked over to Seishiro
