As well as being a beautiful girl, IMO she would be the perfect Tifa for a Live-Action Final Fantasy VII film. With her kind permission I’ve able to have a go at making Art based on some of her photos. I’m doing it as a kind of exercise to help with my ongoing practice with the mediums I use (both individually and in combinations). And being a huge Tifa fan myself I’m hoping it’ll spark some inspiration for some of my own work in the future.
Now, unfortunately - in terms of scanning - this isn’t the ideal quality I was hoping for. To try and cut a long story short, the scanner from the office where I volunteer, which I normally use for Art of a certain size has been taken out of action due to the computer kickin’ the bucket; so I’ve had to use one that doesn’t produce an as-good-quality scan. Therefore it is possible that in the future I’ll either have to update this deviation or upload a second version.
As the Photoshoot that inspired this project was a team effort as a whole, I’d also like to acknowledge and as Photographer and Head of Location respectively. Sadly I wasn’t able to include the actual location in the upload of the Artwork due to my shortcoming of being awful with scenery/backgrounds, but as I keep improving, with luck it’ll be different for the other works I’m hoping to do - including version 2.0 of this piece - when my office’s Better Quality scanner is up and running. Instead - just to make it feel complete - I went with a quick Photoshop background (reminded me of Mako energy).
