To my shock, Misty won this week’s poll! I am very happy with these photos, and I had SO much fun cosplaying her!! The wig use to be my Asuka wig (the first one) I cut it for Leeloo and then styled it for Misty. I wish I had had a larger Togepi plushie, or one of misty’s other pokemon (like staryu) still at least I had the key chain right? It was a rather easy cosplay to put together and comfortable!!
I hope you all like the cosplay! Be sure to comment and let me know what you think!!! <3
on the Friday of New York Comic Con I dressed as Misty. I FUCKING LOVE THIS COSTUME!
as a kid, Pokemon was a really big deal for me. Imaginary Pokemon were basically the only friends I had. I would run around pretending I had a Chameleon ... he never evolved... actually now that I think about it he was never even Charmander. Whatever bitch, I'll pretend what I want to!
So, recently I started watching pokemon again from the very first season, I'm on episode 8 of season one right now and the nostalgia is mind blowing. Obviously I just had to be Misty... but... I guess... a more grown up and bad ass version. HA!
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy

i saw an artwork from a local magazine here that i used to collect "Questor Magazine" (it's a magazine that features anime reviews, ost reviews and fan arts) and i imagined that it was morrigan and it works so i used the pose and made it into morrigan...
done with pentel water color on berkeley board...
i made the wings a little water washed so it would show that it's quite thin...the hardest part here is the stockings...i really tried my best to make it look like stockings...and look closer to the bats on it lol
i decided not to widen the color range to make it look simple...and t make her hair babby blue..it's just i keep on imagining it's seaweeds when it's green lol....
Huge thank you to Artifice Clothing for collaborating with me and creating this magnificent costume. I have no costume design credits for myself on this one, this is entirely the work of Artifice Clothing and I am so honored that I can now wear this costume to conventions.
Another thanks to Gothic Lolita Wigs for sponsoring this shoot, and to Hershey the gorgeous Dalmatian for joining me.
Photography credit goes to the always amazing Jeff Hui
An additional message: This fur is not real, it's great to play an animal skinning maniac from my favorite childhood movie, but lets keep it cruelty free for the reality of things. XOXO - VB

My Rise costume from Persona 4. I made it myself, etc etc. photos by While making this costume I was able to finally perfect the sailor collar!! pretty exciting~ glad I can read a bit of Japanese because that was a real help! This jacket design is... interesting. There is an invisible zipper in one of the side seams and it probably has to be my best ever. I am really happy with how I made this~

GOTTA FIND OUT WHO KILLED MY DADDDDDDDD found the perfect blue n white striped spandex, made a pair panties lined in plain white jersey, v fold elastic on the leg holes. Bra was a white bra from target that i covered in spandex by hand and it was very annoying but lmao i've done it for so many costumes at this point who even cares.
