A man is at the side of the road. His wife is changing the tire on their car. He lies on the back bank of the road. The cars, lorries and haulage trucks pass him by, but they make no sound.
I. Am. So. Tired.
But then it’s in these, dreamy, dreary, distant moments, we are who we’d always wished to be. The man with the strength to vanquish a thousand armies, the king, with lands of awe, or the timid stranger at a party who learns to dance, and kiss the girl.
I’ve often wondered what it was like to live inside a dream. To be able to take your sleeping thoughts in any direction. To own the dream. To live inside that second where all time and space is inside that single possibility. When everything falls away into that second. That brief, glorious second when everything and anything is just a thought away.
