DC Teen Titans Raven (Normal Clothes)
From the Cartoon Network series Teen Titans
I like drawing the Shadow Raven behind her cause this picture
she doesnt have her cloak but still very Scary/Mysterious  with her dark magic lol
i add lots of details and the clothes had to fit her personality ,i think as she gets older
she'll get more conformable showing more skin but only cover up when she get
nervous or shy .Even added the Teen Titans Communicator which you rarely see in pics.
Hope everyone likes this Raven drawing spent alot time thinking of all this stuff
to make this picture more perfect to fit with the character personality XD

Another commission this one of Teen Titans. It was nice to revisit these characters with some updated skill. Much better then my last attempt but still ways to go to be where I want to be.

Here's the original pieces from about 3 years back.

Total number of hours where I got decent sleep since Friday morning: 1.5 hours...

But I wanted to finish this. So there. :XD:

I know the "Titans-in-a-box" thing has probably been done so many times already, but I wanted this to match with the wallpaper I made for the Titans East, so I stuck with the theme.

I'll be honest when I say that I'm not particularly happy with how I drew Starfire here, but maybe that's just me. Robin, however... I got a crick on my neck when I tried to imitate his pose just so I could draw him! (It still hurts a bit every now and then, btw...) I will never, ever imitate him again!!

Size is 1024x728.

I'm off to bed now...

Edit: With the way things stand, I'm highly afraid that this wallpaper might get removed granted that I had used a screenshot as a background. Until I render the tower on my own, I had decided to leave the background blank for a while. Sorry for that...

Happy 10,000 and 15,000 pageviews! Majority vote this time was for that super-cool super-teen quintet, the Teen Titans!

AND IT'S FINALLY DONE!! *faints*

Again, sorry for the delay with this pic. It was a nightmare to do, especially since Photoshop kept crashing when I tried to save.

The Titans are settling on a rooftop (heck, maybe it's the top of Titan Tower) before a night's work of crime fighting. I tried to mainly keep to my own art style, but hints of the Titans' art style kept slipping in. End result is a kind of mesh of the two styles. Kinda cool.

I've decided that spandex is reeeally annoying to shade. Usually I just use two colors when shading, unless something is shiny (like metal, eyes, and hair). Spandex however, is a shiny matiral, so I ended up having to use three colors to shade most of everything (save the blue cape on Raven and the black on BB; I think his mix of spandex and regular black fabric was pretty cool).

Cyborg. Oh, Cyborg. >_< Probably THE hardest of the Titans to get right. I'm still not sure I pulled him off 100%. I had such a hard time shading his bluish-glassy mech parts, that I just copied the cartoon shading style, and faked the rest. ^_^ It was certainly interesting experimenting with the different kinds of patterns I could make out of blue electric lines. I hope they look decent.

Beast Boy's fun. Again, I like his costume. And I want those boots; those are cool. I don't think there were cuffs on them (or his gloves), but I liked how that looked so I ended up not changing it. His hair was difficult, because I'm not good at drawing short hair. But it worked out. I was amazed at how many shades of green I ended up working with, some different by just a hair (no pun intended, but I'll take it anways, heehee...this IS BB we're talking about after all; a lame joke has to come in SOMEwhere).

Raven's awesome. She's my favorite. Actually, she's nearly everyone's favorite, darn it (I hate following the crowd), but that's probably because she's so cool. Don't get me wrong though; the other four are also seriously cool. Anyways, the way her costume is shaded almost gives it a velvet look to me. I'm not sure if that came off in my shading; I've never been that good at velvet. But if it looks like more shiny spandex, I'll go with that too.

Why did I give Robin that pole? That was a pain. Oh well, he keeps it so it can be a pain to everyone else, so why not me? I'm not sure if the gray on his boots is indicitive of metal or not, but I decided what the hey. It adds even more pain to his blows, as if the pole wasn't bad enough. His costume was the most annoying, as it required the most shiny spandex fabric. I can't tell you how tempted I was to yank off that mask; I've always wondered what he'd look like under that.

Something's weird about Starfire. I had trouble with her in the figure drawing stage; she kept assuming a boyish figure. Huh. She was the easiest to shade. I don't know why; that's just kinda how it turned out. Shrug. I'm not sure if I drew her tall enough though. If Robin stood next to her they'd probably be the same height; she should be taller than he is. Whoops.

LOOK!! A detailed background!! That took more than an hour!! I'm so proud of me! ^_^ Again, all done with vectors, because I must hate myself or something. Some of the bricks look off, but who cares. Maybe the building's mason was careless. Heaven only knows it couldn't be the artist who's careless. ^_~

One, two, three, four, GO! ♪

I think Teen Titans is not my favorite cartoon only because I don't see it as a cartoon - it stays in a fine line between cartoon and anime. I find it amusing how the characters have some development but the plot is not that complicated. That way, almost all of the episodes are connected but can be watched individually.

So sad that Terra didn't fit into the composition, the panels were already too narrow OTL . I never got through Terra, I wish I could know what happens to her T^T *cries rivers*

I was on the second season of Young Justice when I saw Tim Drake and Beastboy, then I thought, "oh come on there has to be Starfire." There's even Wondergirl and Blue Beetle, it's practically Titans. The show's all good with the kickass action scenes and brilliant animation but I still like the Teen Titans better. You know, the one with the Puffy Amiyumi intro. Also, I can't believe they took out Kid Flash, he was so funny!

Wanted to try my hand at the new Scribblenauts contest DA launched, especially since it's open worldwide!

So here's one of DC's most powerful magicians, Zatanna!
She quite often 'hides in plain sight', disguising her magic as just simple tricks and illusions to the average person, and her costume over the years has always been a sexy stage outfit, complete with wand and top hat.

First appearing in a Hawkman Comic back in 1964, she has since appeared in numerous titles across the DC universe, including, but not limited to Batman/Detective, Justice League, Green Lantern, and The Books of Magic. She took part in the Identity Crisis and Infinite Crisis series, and had her own four part comic simply named Zatanna as part of the Seven Soldiers of Victory event.
She's also made appearances in the animated series of Justice League and Batman, and has had a few videogame appearances too.

...just a try of drawing
Black Canary

is one of the greatest fighters in the DC Universe, and also a strong tactical mind.
Her costume is an attractive black outfit with fishnet stockings and blonde hair,
and she is usually seen riding her motorcycle.
Her first version had no supernatural powers and mastered their adventures with mostly distinct martial arts skills.
Later the authors decided to add the sonar scream which became her bloodcurdling trademark.

The character Black Canary was originally developed as a supporting character
for in the 1940s published issues of the American comic book series flash comics stories
about the clumsy Johnny Thunder.

The first time she appeared in the issue Flash Comics # 86 from August 1947.
Since the character immediately proved to be extremely popular,
they put Black Canary from issue # 92 itself as the center of some stories.

Green Arrow fights alongside her most often as they are romantically involved.
She has been a member of the Justice Society, the Justice League, Team Arrow and the Birds of Prey
An important role she also played in the publications of the Birds-of-Prey serie,
where she is next to Huntress and Barbara Gordon one of the three main characters
and was presented in more than 100 magazines.

When I saw that notification for the Scribblenauts contest, I started drawing immediately and didn't stop until I was finished! What are the odds, too: I finally caught up with Young Justice yesterday. Anyway, I was going to draw just the Robins, but I like Cass too, and I figured I might as well make the numbers even. Man, I hope multiple characters are allowed.

From left to right (I can never remember the number of Batgirls):
Stephanie Brown (Robin IV/Spoiler/Batgirl)
Jason Todd (Robin II/Red Hood)
Dick Grayson (Robin I/Nightwing)
Bruce Wayne (Batman)
Tim Drake (Robin III/Red Robin)
Damian Wayne (Robin V)
Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)

All the characters belong to DC, Scribblenauts belongs to 5th Cell and WB Games. All of the characters have appeared in some issue of Batman.

My take on Wonder Woman. She has the most glorious nose ever.

After drawing so many cutesy patootsie images I felt like trying something more realistic-looking. I'm also trying to draw more often and faster (failing miserably so far), and I really should practice on drawing men. Okay, I'm making an official promise that the next artwork is gonna be of a male character.

For the transformation challenge ;)

What program or tools did you use?
I used photoshop CS4 and a Huion H610 Pro tablet, and painted this in only one layer (except for the boundaries). This is actually the first drawing I have made with that tablet, I just bought it :) I did some sketches on paper first though.

Where did you find your inspiration for your entry?
The human brain is made in such a way that it sees shapes and patterns in things that do not have that at all. Staring at clouds is an example of it, you always make some sort of shape out of a simple cloud. Seeing a troll in a bunch of rocks is also a nice one, you should go to Scandinavia for some stone troll hunting ;) Anyway, I thought that that was a nice idea for this transformation contest. This drawing shows what happens when someone with a rather wild imagination looks at a nice and otherwise very normal cliff. The rocks here are shaped a little bit like a dragon or wyrm, so people might believe that there are dragons living on their land and come alive once in a while. That can result in a new myth, legend or fairy tale.

Dragons are one of my favorite fantasy creatures. The fire of the dragon forms a nice contrast with the calm water and rocks, I think, so that's why I choose for dragon. I also love coasts

How long did it take to complete?
approximately 6 hours, all done in one evening... That was not a good plan XD I am a bit tired now.

My entry for The Transformation Challenge. Hope you like it.

He is one of my rpg characters, Takkin. He is not a shapeshifter, I just made this pic for the contest.
Draft: paper, pencil, then IllustStudio, Photoshop + Wacom Intuos 3
I spent about 10-12 hours from first lines to finish.
Progress stages : sta.sh/01dbwagyvh5x

Hmm... About my inspiration. When I found this challenge, I knew that I must participate. Nomen est omen.

I not like to draw myself, so I chosen an OC... but the shopkeeper? It would have been too easy. :P
That's why he came. He is a flying-bike racer. ( Yes, he is a SciFi character, not fantasy. ) I never drew him before. To change him to another form, i tried a lot (1-2 minute) sketches with various results. After an hour I had the tiger, the conception of turning back... and a ton of crap sheets.

On the other side...
Oscillators always amazed me. I love to use infinite loops. The actual figures are just forms which can follow it. :)

PS: I drew a second entry. 12-tf.deviantart.com/art/Natur…

Update: 04/13/08 FuzzAcademy.com is open! [link]

Shop for these baby bears on your clothes here [link] ! This is an image of the Fuzz Academy, Inc.)

Here are 12 baby polar bears playing in spring snow, for your desktop wallpaper pleasure. :) (I think my personal favorite is the one with its head propped up on the sleeping bear's butt. >D) I made them especially for the Multi-Monitor contest, which may be the first time I've ever made a wallpaper with the sole intent of it being a wallpaper. Meant to stretch across 2 monitors--although I also included regular 1 monitor-sized images in the zip file. The zip file includes images suitable for the following sizes:

Multi-Monitor (2 monitors)
-----------------------------
2560x1024 (two 1280x1024 desktops)
2048x768 (two 1024x768 desktops)
1600x600 (two 800x600 desktops)

Single Monitor
----------------
1280x1024
1024x768
800x600

I hope I formatted it correctly so that no polar bear is split halfway across two screens. O_O That would suck......especially for the polar bear........ Bears inspired by those adorably fat polar bears from Balto!

Im reading Batman comics, BATTLE for the COWL story arc, and repeatedly seeing Jason Todd wearing Batman's clothes, saying to Tim Drake and Richard Grayson, while fighting them one on one, at different times, respectively...asking them, BE MY ROBIN!!!

And I'm thinking while reading/viewing this scene...

Jason, you are asking the WRONG people to "be YOUR Robin"!

Ask DAMIAN WAYNE to be YOUR Robin, he is crazy and PSYCHOTIC, just like you, and both of you have the TALIA connection...Talia is Damian's mom and she also was responsible for throwing JT's badly beaten body into Ras Al Ghul's "crazy tonic" Lazarus Pool and restoring, rejuvenating Jason's body, while twisting his already crazy mind even further into Joker-like insanity.

I would LOVE to see a comic where Jason Todd is in his Bat-Suit and Damian Wayne is his Robin/Boy Wonder!
Kind of like the Negative Zone, Alternate-Reality version of Batman & Robin, except Darker, Crazier, and more Insane, without the No-Guns and No-Killing rule.
