Hi! Here's my tentative personal schedule for Otakuthon 2015 in Montreal, QC, Canada. As a tentative convention schedule hasn't been posted yet, I'll use a carbon-copy of my last year's personal schedule.
Private photoshoot policy, booking procedure and rates remain the same as always.
Important note: I submitted 5 panel ideas. Should my panels be confirmed and fall on photoshoot slots, you'll be contacted for conflict resolution (move or cancel shoots). Should other opportunities open for me, I'll take them as well and contact any affected people with existing appointments with me.

McCall's Patterns + Yaya Han = Cosplay patterns!Today is an incredibly exciting day!!!More Like This
I feel incredibly lucky that on my birthday, I can finally reveal a long-awaited dream come true with all of you.
McCall's Patterns reached out to me last year to see if I would like to design some patterns for them. (Still reeling over this sentence, btw.) I had a meeting and lovely tour of their offices, and then got to work. My ideas were overflowing, but I knew exactly which patterns I wanted to design first...
We're proud to present "Yaya Han's Ultimate Bodysuit Pattern" as the first finished collaboration between McCall's Patterns and me.
It's a pattern we are sorely missing in the cosplay world - I know from having to alter and draft my own bodysuit patterns for many years. This patterns will make it easy for cosplayers (and everyone else) to tailor a bodysuit that will fit them like a glove, and use it as a base for thousands of costume ide
Happy New Year and Future Plans!Happy New Year Everyone! I hope 2015 goes well.More Like This
This past year was big enough for me cosplaying wise, as I decided to start taking it more seriously. I entered 3 masquerades, Ottawa Comic Con being my first and Pop Expo being my most recent. At Pop Expo I was picked as one of the 5 entries that Yaya Han and Johny Junkers liked the best and was honored with a judges pick from them. I also apparently won another award (wasn't there to receive it) but I still do not know what it is. So, I guess I reached Journeyman this year.
I also learnt a lot craftmanship wise, and am still learning all sorts of new techniques for sewing and making things. I'm hoping to learn all sorts of new things this year as well.
Some of my highlights this year included meeting all sorts of new people in the cosplaying community. Some included :iconbanditsspurs:, :iconMae-Gwyn: and :iconstardustdrivedragon: who I got to hang out with backstage in the green room at Otakuthon. I'm really
Currents, AutumnI have been having an extremely busy and exciting fall, November has been great.More Like This
I was invited as a cosplay guest to a concert put on by the Orchestra of Video Game Music and the Orchestra of Movie Music (write up here). The concert was fantastic and I am super excited to go to their next concert <3 Here's a video that was filmed of one of their songs http://goo.gl/Jb3dtT
(I'm the Yuna)
Also attended Bakuretsu Con with Mae-Gwyn and Coreboy (on Youtube) on November 15th. Mae-Gwyn and I both cosplayed from Legend of Zelda, she wore Sheik and I wore my Princess Zelda. That evening we competed in the masquerade, to which she won Advanced walk-on and I won Advanced Craftsmanship!
In addition, my friend and I attended Ottawa's Pop Expo on the 23rd. I debuted my Lacus Clyne cospla
Small Anime Conventions a MUST Go ^^So I went to my very FIRST small anime convention last weekend (November 9, 2014) the event is called Quinte Mini Con (or QMC ^^), it's a 2 day anime convention at Belleville, Ontario, Canada but WE (Mae-Gwyn, her boyfriend and Lukas) attended only one day ^^ (speal thanks for Mae-Gwyn for the invitation XD).More Like This
I have never been to any small conventions and my expectations are not too much But the Quinte Mini Con proved that I am wrong in a good way.
QMC celebrates all things geek/fandom! Anything related to gaming, anime, cosplay, manga, comics, science fiction, and so much more. Even for a small con they try to satisfy everybody's fantasies and NAILED it!
The venue is actually great, very spacious, high end ^^ (from my personal experiences) The dealers room is actually great and offers a vast merchandise for all your fandom needs
Currents, so much ZeldaCURRENT PROJECTS:More Like This
I currently don’t have a project that I feel that rises above the rest in terms of ‘priority’; with the bulk of the cosplay season over, I feel like I can just putz along and hop from project to project as boredom and my tiny attention span see fit.
Secondary projects: (I have many)
Queen Zelda from Hyrule Warriors
Ohhh… I feel like the road to completing this project is going to be a long one; once you really started looking into this costume you can tell that it’s going to require a big effort. There are many aspects to this costume to which I have little experience so I recognize that I may struggle at this for a long time before I’m happy with it. I appreciate these kinds of project though; I like to work on things that are a bit above my depth- I may sink at first but then I’ll swim.
I’m not setting a deadline on this one.
