She, so forgiving, so sweet, and he so angry and bitter. Karkat still had a hard time understanding why she stayed with him, when she obviously deserved much better. Every time he ranted, or yelled, or cursed, she was there with a reassuring hand on his shoulder and a kiss on his cheek. He’d never get it, but he could sure as hell hope that the day that she wised up never came.
