I pushed open the front door, hearing Darry and Sodapop inside the house over the loud creak the screen door made. They were both home early... How am I supposed to get my homework done now, with Darry nagging me to take my time and Soda begging me to throw it off?
"Hey Ponyboy! How about we go play football?" Soda's voice asked the second I stepped in. Darry gave him a stern look. They were both sitting at the table, Darry had a newspaper in front of him but it wasn't opened. Soda had a bottle of coke opened with only a bit left in it. Neither of them had bothered to put a tablecloth, either.
"No way, little man," Darry started, sounding kind of annoyed, "Ponyboy's gotta do his homework first." I could almost hear their half-joking, half-serious argument coming up. Darry'd win it, but Soda wouldn't let it go.
I let out

Chapter 11 – “I'm just Gonna Go Get Something to Drink”
"Ponyboy!" yelled Darry and knocked on the bathroom door for the third time that evening. "How long does it take to do your hair? You've been in there for an hour! Some of us would like to use the bathroom as well!"
Sodapop chuckled from his spot on the couch. He had been quick and conquered the bathroom before Pony so he didn't have to worry about being late. It was the same every time they were going somewhere. And Darry never learned it.
"Maybe we should change his name to Ponygirl with all that time he spends in front of the mirror," joked Sodapop.
Johnny stood in front of the mirror, trying to get his hair to sit neat, but it was no use.

You parked in the back row of the movie drive in exhausted from a long day of school, but eager for the movie playing. You were a freshman at your new school and were very quiet. You lived right on the outskirts of where the 'greasers' typically lived and hung out. There were always many fights with them and the 'soc's', but to be honest, you never really cared who was who or why. It seemed a bit silly to single people out because they lived on a side of town. You snapped out of your thoughts as the movie screen lit up, and bounced in your seat. The film was 'Night of the Living Dead', a horror film you had been excited to see for a while. Though the movie was a little cheesy, you supposed it wasn't that bad, considering it at least had a plot, unlike those boring beach movies. The movie was going great, until you heard a ruckus going on in the front row. Some jack wagon was blowing the horn and screaming and hollering at some boys seated in the front row. "Hey!" You called, rolling do
Dallas and Johnny: Ticklish FunIt was a beautiful spring day; Dallas and Johnny were killing time at the Curtis house until the guys got home. Dallas was lying on the floor watching TV. Johnny was stretched out on the couch both boys were lost in their thoughts and the program. Johnny turned on his side; his gaze moving towards Dally’s socked soles which were facing him. Starting to get bored with the program; Johnny decided to have a little fun. Johnny slowly inched his hand closer to Dally’s feet; continuously keeping an eye on Dally. Just as Johnny’s fingers were about to make contact with the vulnerable sole; Dallas started shifting. He brought his left foot over his right one to scratch at an itch. Johnny held his breath as Dally replaced his feet in the same position as before. Breathing a sigh of relief, Johnny went back to the task at hand.More Like This

Johnny guessed the timid look on his face was apparent as he saw the school. He just couldn't believe it. His heart raced with anticipation as the car pulled up, and he opened the car door of the silver Acura. He looked at his mom. Her cold eyes stared into his soul. This was Johnny's first time back at school in a long time. Who said he was going to show up? Johnny walked into the office, told them he was dropping out, and then walked out. Was what he did right? He didn't know. Why should he care?
It was just then Johnny noticed Dally approaching him yelling, "Johnny! Get over here!"
Johnny looked at him and sighed. He walked over and the boy wrapped his arms around Johnny. Dally was blonde and had beautiful crystal blue eyes that were cold, but warmed up when he saw Johnny.
"Dally, stop it." He whined.
Dally smiled, "Johnny, come on."
He hugged him back with an eye roll. Being the gay one of the group with a lot of bisexual friends, it was sort of a flirting free-for-all.

Dally looked at the Socs, giving them a long hard stare, as Johnny froze in fear.
"Hey greasers," they taunted.
Johnny backed away, and one grabbed him harshly with a crude laugh. He whimpered and his arms flailed about, desperate to get free as they tightened their grip on him. He yelped and swung as hard has he could, his fist crashing into one of the Soc's heads. He kicked and swung, hoping to get free from the nasty bullies. Then, he was thrown to the ground. He looked up and Dally was in a fit of rage as he was beating one of the Socs badly. No one was going to hurt Johnny. For now, anyway.
Johnny reached for a blade in his pocket, but a fist crashed into the side of his head, and everything went black. He woke up seconds later, dazed and confused. When he saw an elbow about to crash into his beautiful face, he rolled over, the Soc's elbow hitting the pavement. Johnny saw this as an opportunity, and took off, Dally close behind. There was no way they could beat them alone. When th

Soda had his arm around me and I was shakin slightly. All I could think was, 'Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry.' I couldn't cry in front of Johnny. Compared to what he got I should be happy and laughin. And I don't even want to think about what Darry'd do. I felt a hand lift my chin up and touch my neck. "Damn. Guess your lucky. Coulda been worse. Fuckin Socs " The voice trailed off in a steam of cuss words. It was a female voice with a strong Mississippi drawl. Samantha.
She was the only girl in our gang but was as tough as Dally. She was 19 and barely as tall as me. Darry always said she was a little spit fire with the biggest heart you'd ever see. I grinned at her. "Aw I'm fine. It's just a scratch." I was trying to put on a brave face for the gang. I couldn't let them see how shaken I really was. Hearing what I said Darry started in on me. "You don't think! If you couldn't get someone to go with you you could have at least carried a blade!" Soda came to my defense

"No-o Johnny - Ah ha ha - st-top! Hahaha!" I squirmed as Johnny continued to tickle me. We were currently in the lot, and I'd just let it slip that I like Two-Bit. Unfortunately when Johnny started to pick at me for it, I said something about Dally. Which is why I'm in my current position. Underneath Johnny and being tickled mercilessly.
Johnny was laughing as he continued to torture me. He looked cute when he laughed. Hell he always looked cute. I could never tell him that though, for fear he'd hit me. He didn't really like to be called cute. Said it made him feel like a little kid.
Finally he stopped. He sat there straddling my waste as we tried to catch our breath. "You look cute when your all outa breath and red-faced." he told me as he rolled off and laid beside me. I giggled and rolled over curling into his side. He wrapped an arm around me and kissed the top of my head. We were always like this when the gang wasn't around.
