I spent a lot of the day doing Lara studies that will eventually go toward a more polished environmental piece for the contest. This was the last sketch I did today and I ended up really liking the simplicity of it.
After several months, I decided to wear new Lara's clothes again. I love this costume and I'm so happy to share this new pic with you.
ABOUT THIS COSPLAY:
I love new Lara Croft's costume: it makes me feel like a real survivor while I'm wearing it. It's not difficult for me to identify with her: she's young and she don't know what her future will be like but she's determinate and fights for what she wants.
I created this cosplay long before the game came out, so a lot of details were different from the final version. After playing the game I completed the costume but I decided to wait before a new photoshooting because this cosplay turned out to be a little too mainstream. So here's an oldie, well a pic from last summer in Halistenkoski These water shots were awesome to make and especially due to the pistol issue - one of a kind. ~MagicOfSnow did the editing Thank him for persuading to upload this well seriously thank you for the little fix again, these shots have big memories

I never released it before so here it is. I applied all the modifications needed to improve its quality, weapons are all there as optional items again.

It's not just me who cosplays, the other half does it too! This is Si's very first cosplay, Commander Shepard from Mass Effect 3. Little bit of Renegade action creeping in there, you notice.
The undersuit is comprised of a black compression top and matching leggings rather than a wetsuit, since a bit easier to get in and out of. Otherwise, the whole thing is a traditional craft foam build. Black EVA foam floor tiles with some thinner, 2mm craft foam for detailing.
Foam alone wasn't a good enough colour to leave unpainted, so everything has been sprayed with a few different coats of car paint, as it gives a better, more metallic finish. In the end, it was built up with matt black as a base, then Ford Midnight Grey to get the metal effect. Dinks and weathereing comes from a little aluminium colour.

Couple people have asked me if I could show ''Silent Warrior'' cotume layers. So here it is. It's still kinda messy and I'm not even sure myself how the armors are actually working buuuut.... I did my best. I hope you like it and it's useful somehow.
So Pocahontas for my ''Princess warrior'' project! YA! She was suck a pain to draw and color too ... ::: D And her design isn't so different from the orginal costume but I just wanted to make her more .. umm .. ruthless I guess... She is some kinda of executioner-warrior : DDDD Also I didn't want to make armor to her or sword or anything like that I wanted to keep her ''wild'' : ) I love pocahontas BTW!
I hope you like it. Comments plz!
ps. She didn't kill Meeko if you think one of those tails is his.
So this is my ''warrior'' version of Ariel. I'm gonna make another costume for her which is more like her mermaid form. I call her Silent warrior 'cause she can't talk, her voice and true strenght is inside that seashell. When she needs it, she can release her strength from it and transform more powerful warrior. Or something like that... I had in my mind... mm ( . u .; ) I'm not good at writing my thoughts.
