Even after he had dismissed them, his squad mates had tried their best to convince him to join them in the festivities. Ino had practically danced back into the tent, her long blonde hair flowing behind her, giving him a forced, flirtatious wink from under her long bangs. “Come with us Shikamaru!” she had teased, smiling through her sorrow and loss, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “The war’s over! We won! Surely we can forget the paperwork and live a little!”

This what I imagine to be going through Elsa’s head as she’s running away from Arendelle. Also, this is my way of waiting for Frozen to come out.
Disney, hurry up and release the movie please.
How could this have happened?
The recently crowned Queen Elsa of Arendelle had cursed her kingdom to spend the rest of eternity in winter. And all she could do was run away in shame. She couldn't even face her people. She had turned her back on them.
Elsa breathed heavily as she ran, her hands pressed tightly against her chest so that she wouldn't cause anymore harm. Her feet creating ice along the surface of the water, allowing her to run away over the large lake that separated Arendelle from the mountains.
She'd be safe there, and her people would be safe from her.
The young queen quickened her pace, her cape flowing behind her as she made her way accross the icy surface. She bit her lip, fighti

“Anna?” Elsa scrambled out of the clothes and looks around.
“Anna!” Elsa franticly dug her sister out of the snow, but Anna is cold, unconscious and her lips are blue.
“Mother!” Elsa raced for the door.
Soon they are with the doctor. Anna is wrapped in warm blankets and she is pink again, she had woken slightly but was asleep again. Elsa was trying to explain what happened but it was difficult since she didn’t understand what happened.

She looked around. Cold air was swirling in through the slightly open window onto her.
It was Fall but this seemed like an early frost, she gathered her blanket and carefully dumped the ice out of the window. It landed with a clatter in the courtyard below.
Elsa looked to her sister Anna sleeping across the room, but she just snorted and slept on.
Elsa tiptoed to the wardrobe and pulled out the extra blanket after laying her cold wet blanket over a chair.
She crawled back into bed and as she pulled the blanket over her she noticed the still open window. She got up and closed the window, just in case.
As she snuggled under the blanket again, she shivered, but she wasn’t cold.

"Of course, dear." Mother quickly poured some water from the pitcher into a mug and gave it to her daughter, who drank it quickly.
"Yes, mother. Thank you."
"Well, your body is changing and you will feel things from time to time, but it should be fine. If you feel more strange then you are comfortable with talk to me."
"Yes, mum. Thank you mum."
"You're welcome. Come, let's go to the town for something special for you."

In their excitement, they didn't notice the rime of ice on the mug.

The chaos of the celebration had been overwhelming at times. But she had had so many wonderful experiences.

Solara just stared at her free wrist for a long moment while Eugene got to work on the other. She started moving her free wrist around, a look of wonder on her face as her arm felt so weightless without the heavy shackle on it or having to move her other arm with it.
"There you go. You're finally free," said Eugene, smiling, as the other lock clicked open.
Solara turned and jumped around the room, her arms flailing wildly as she felt so free. Eugene smiled, as he caught the crown, that flew off her head. She was sure taking delight in her new
The Trial of Mother Gothel part 2- Flynn Rider's testimonyMore Like This
Flynn Rider was brought in, as he sat down and looks over the court a gaggle of girls in the visitor section start screaming and jumping up and down. The judge banged for order with his gavel, but no one can hear over the din.
Flynn takes action, he shoots a smolder at a couple of the noisiest ones, who go down in a swoon.
One girl in a tight pink corset jumps up on a chair, waves her arms and screams "Flynn Ride Me!" He blows her a kiss with a wink, hoping someone will catch her as she goes down backwards over the chairs into the crowd behind them. Soon the guards move in and carry the fainted girls out.
Once it was quiet the judge asks, "Does that happen often?"
Eugene looked at the royal box, the king was definitely grumpy looking, his little girl had been talking about Eugene rather a lot, looked embarrassed and nodded saying, "Usually it's not that bad, but I've been out of circulation for a while and the tension must be building up. It should dissipate i
The Trial of Mother Gothel part 1- Battle At The TowerMore Like This
"Rapunzel! Rapunzel, let down your hair!" Called Eugene.
Mother had just finished gagging Rapunzel who was just coming around after having been knocked out with the frying pan. Gothel paused, looking from the girl she called daughter to the window.
Rapunzel had a look of hope in her unfocused eyes. Eugene had come back. He could save her from Mother, the person who had stolen her from her real parents, who kept her here in the tower, who never wanted her to leave the tower, who had lied to her, who had said she loved her most, but didn't.
Mother considered for a moment, biting her lip, a pensive look on her face, then threw the hair out of the window and pulling out her knife faded into the shadows near the window.
Rapunzel had to find a way to warn him, she looked around for a way to get the gag off, but then she started sliding across the cool tile floor as Eugene's weight started to pull on her hair and her. She began to panic, she hadn't braced herself, there

Maleficent observed the weeping princess from the fireplace as the flames died from her presence.
She reached out with her powers and entered the totally defenseless and undefended mind. Now she laughed her cold cruel laugh in that mind.
"Your friends have destroyed you more thoroughly then I could ever possibly had hoped to. Princess Aurora," Maleficent said with an ironic twist to her voice.
"Even calling you by your real name hurts you. Oh, this is just too easy. "
"Without prompting you'd throw yourself from your own balcony, but that just won't do, I cursed you and I intent to keep to that. You were gifted with beauty and music, I even gave you more beauty and grace, is there anything that is actually yours inside that body."
"Look at what your beloved aunts have done to you:

The Lock Captain pulled out the worst-case scenario from the locked secret files.
He had finished cleaning up after the Princess's Birthday celebration of the day before. They were so hard, it reminded them of their worst failure; they had failed to protect the Princess the day she was kidnapped.
It didn't really matter to Captain Vince Taygon that they had been just been created the day she was born, nor did it matter that he had been in this very office compiling a list of names of possible guard candidates at the time.
He should have been there!
The failure still stung after all these years and he and the rest of the Lock Guard were determined not to let that happen again if they ever have another chance.
He settled his two white criss-crossed sashes and put his red fez on his desk. Now it was time to start updating the contingency files. They had studied hard and had made so many plans; so the changes w

Note: A short interstitial about how Maximus was able to get the Pub Thugs to break Flynn out of prison.
Maximus, was sitting on the dock, waiting for the wonderful blonde girl and Flynn Rider to come back. He was a good horse and had left a few apples since Flynn Rider had said he had bought most of them. That was mean, he didn't know which ones had been stolen.
When he saw the guards take Flynn Rider away. Flynn kept calling Rapunzel's name. She must be in worse trouble then he was, and he was being taken to prison.
That's a bad sign.
Maximus ran through town and over the bridge to where he thought Flynn was looking. Maximus snuffled around and found two large men out cold on the beach. He could smell Flynn and Rapunzel and Pascal. There was someone else too, someone new, someone that smelled strange.
This was a big problem.
He followed the scent trail but it got lost crossing a stream. He went back and fou

The King and Queen were enraptured by the story. The soup, bread, meats and jams on the table were forgotten; the guards faded into the background as the candles began to burn down.
It was so much to take in and it had only covered a few hours of their daughter's life. She had shown amazing strength, goodness and bravery.
"Then Mother found me. She wanted to take me back, but I had done so much and met such wonderful people. I didn't want to go back yet. I still wanted to see the lanterns most of all. But Mother said he was just doing this for the crown, which she somehow had and gave to me, to test him, give it to him and see how fast he would leave. I didn't do that then, I was too scared." Rapunzel gave Eugene a shy look.
"The next morning Maximus found us and tried to take Eugene away. But I persuaded him to let him be my guide just for my birthday and then they could chase each other all they wante

Rapunzel was distressed.
Here she was sitting in the palace, next to her with his arm around her, was her new dream Eugene, he'd pulled his chair close to her. Sitting in front of her, their knees almost touching were her parents, her real parents. Everyone was so close to her. Somehow she felt safe and protected, not anxious like she was sometimes around Mother.
So many new things she was learning, but not sure where to put them in her head. Persons were so different from Mother and herself, some had extra hair on their faces, but different from Eugene and her father, and some people like the seneschal were missing hair from the top of their heads. She had been on the lookout for people with pointy teeth, but there were none so far.
It made so little sense. She had grown up alone and ignorant in her tower, and didn't have any hooks in her mind to hang what she was learning on.
The person who was her father, something new sh

The King waited for the door to close. The mantle of authority he had taken on for dealing with the prisoner dropped away as he dragged one of the white brocade fish chairs knee to knee with his new grown-up daughter.
Eugene was impressed with how quickly and easily the King switched demeanors.
The King took her small hand in his, it felt warm as he covered it with his other hand.
He looked in wonder at his daughter. "How did you do that? He's a hardened criminal, suspected to have killed at least one person over an insult. We bring him here in chains, he knows is facing the death penalty, yet all of his concern is on a girl he just met two days ago."

The doors to the family dining room were opened by palace guards their breastplates reflecting the light of the candles, leading in a large man wearing a roughly-made brown jerkin and leather kilt.
"The prisoner, your Majesty." A guard announced. HookHand was lead into the room. His hook had been taken; there were handcuffs, and just to be sure, there were chains around his ankles. He knew he was in trouble, but now it just got a lot worse.
Being pulled out of your cell in the middle of the night is never a good sign, being thrown into a room where the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife, is worse. He saw Flynn Rider sitting next to a crying girl he didn't recognize, whom the Queen was hugging. He did not like being around crying girls, they tended to make life complicated.
The King turned, with a look of revulsion on his face. HookHand was used to that look, but for once it didn't seem to be direct

"But I need to hear more of the story if I am to judge wisely. You said the thugs from the Snuggly Duckling helped you escape and Maximus too. I was told we captured a large number of men this morning because of your jailbreak. I presume these are the thugs you are talking about."

The royal couple shared a look and looking back at Eugene and their daughter, the King said, "That sounds like quite the story, and we'd better find a place to sit and hear it."
The guards ushered them to a dining room, with a small table where they could sit close to each other.
"Please, just don't freak out" Rapunzel asked her parents. Eugene gave a small smile at that request, as they sat around the table heaped with several small easy-to-eat items. They looked somewhat tempting, they had only have some apples, cheese and some stale bread from the tower. The Snuggly Duckling had been empty; everyone was in prison.
Rapunzel gave a gasp of happiness when she opened the soup terrine and found hazelnut soup. She dug in while Eugene started his story. She hadn't had anything today, since the cupcakes yesterday, but a couple of apples, cheese and some stale bread from the tower.

"Please, let's go inside and sit, so we can hear your story," invites the king as he takes his daughter's hand and moves to the doors, which are opened by a pair of those guards with the crossed sashes.

The interview was only a formality, all the false Lost Princesses had come with elaborate back stories and explanations, but he had never encountered anything like this girl before.
She was brunette for one very big thing.
The girl seemed completely honest and innocent. She truly believed her story. He knew that Maximus had broken the dam from the Captain's report. That the search for the crown had gone to the Snuggly Duckling.
He even knew that a girl with long golden hair had been in the city for the celebration, her joy and innocence had attracted a lot of attention. His princess warning system had alerted him and he was expecting her to make her claim but she never did. This girl had taken him completely by surprise.

The smoke smelled heavy in the still air, which covered the stink of the fish guts a little.
Struan and some of his friends had gone out to the forest to get more wood, mainly branches to set the fish on. Aibhlinn liked Struan. He was a strapping lad, he made her feel a little funny inside and she tended to giggle for no reason whenever he looked at her. She was almost of age to start walking out with him. She was hoping so hard he would ask her, she tried to be near him as much as she could. He looked at her sometimes with such a gentle look on his face. She had felt the tug of the bear on her almost as soon as she changed; to be the bear, the beast, wild and untamable.
