Update : made a few changes to the dress, earth, and a few effects ..

My heart splenches of mourn as I imaging the miserable secluded and despicable existence that one specific type of girls must endure, the very amazingly beautiful and incredibly sweet type, whom their beauty delusions them into thinking they're (each one individually) one of a kind, the only person in the world who is this beautiful, and as days goes the illusions grow in their minds, until they're dominated by their fake image that's in their fake mirrors of their diseased brains, an image of a star in the high open skies, the queen of the universe, or maybe the goddess of all beings ..

the poor thing don't have a clue how lonely the stars in the sky must be feeling, separated by millions of light-years from each other, maybe if she looked around in her fantasy sky instead of looking down at people from such an imaginary height, she would realize how the universe is filled with maaaaaaaany other stars, would've understood that she's not one of a kind, not the queen of the universe nor did (or would) the world ever stop going just for her ..

would've known that she's just one attractive person with hundreds of millions like her around, and that she's not - in spite of what her sprinting hallucination my imagine -

.. Out oF Reach ..

Milady, if you are (or were) one of those girls, then this one is for you ....., may it be the wake up call you need to come back to reality, or the solitude you most definitely need if you're far beyond wake up .. :(

Uff!
DC comic's Swamp Thing
Nankin.

This is a piece I really dedicated myself. At the same time I wanted to get a big improvement in my ink skills, I wanted to enjoy drawing my favourite comic book character. It is exactly how I expected! :)
The woman lying (sweetly) on the grass is Abigail, but I forgot her black hair fuses! :P
That's it!

Thank you all!
See ya!

also a t-shirt now. i figure everyone else is stealing it to make t-shirts so i might as well too.
[link]

i've been bummed out latey and today was especially sad. so anyways this is a random de-bumming drawing i did through out school. we had extra time in Japanese^-^ well actually we WERE supposed to be working, eh well thats what weekends are for.

i think this drawing doesnt quite stand alone so i plan to con my friend into writing a poem to add in later. because me writing literature is like a five year old building a sky scrapper. just dont happen.

Here's some poetry people have send me that was inspired by "Memories of a Martyr"
I know i have more some where- I'll post those ASAP.

by Vampyre-Stuart
Long dark lashes lock up tight,
A symbol of this patron’s plight.
Bright blue eyes control the pain,
Discharging guilt, issuing blame.

Death and solace intertwined,
Piercing twin daggers in his mind.
Feathered wings of light chastise,
And shield him from hurt, he devised.

Drifting aimless, through the void,
Filled with despair, his faith destroyed.
Dignified gowns and filigree,
Turning sombre, eternally.

Mislaid teardrops form and shine,
Are frozen there, in space and time.
Cringing from his unseen fears,
Of worthless faith and unshed tears.

In the twilight of defeat,
Where sunlight wanes with subdued heat,
Bandages and rags still bind,
These Memories of a Martyr’s mind.

April- 24- 2008

sorry i had to watermark it but people keep fucking stealing it!!!! i hate doing it because you can't even see the drawing anymore which is the whole point of putting it on online is so you guys can see it! lame!

I have to go back to school in a few minutes so i iwll update the description later on today :)

enjoy :)

[Update]
As i promissed i am putting down an explanation to it

the drawing represents the path that we all travel going through life
nothing more than lost spirits on a narrow high path, we walk, constantly in danger of falling and thus losing our way,
we try to reach the "lighthouse" which marks our values in life, the way we want to be and what we try to achieve

on our way we pass by happy events (the pond, on the left, refferencing another drwing i made here [link] , and here is a real picture of it [link] which marks a very dear memory i made in the summer of 2004)

and not so happy things, marked by the tree on the right, refferencing to a drawing i made [link] (read comment to it so you can better understand)

of course in a way or another faith and religion plays a pretty important part in each of our lives, and therefore i thought i would include that one too
i symbolized it through the sun, who's rays open up like a bridge to those who wish and choose to walk on it

[Dedication]

i dedicate this piece of art to my friend Isabel, izzybel .deviantart .com
she has always been a good friend to me and meeting her changed my life in many good ways

thank you Izzybelle :)

The Prayer
by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion

I pray you'll be our eyes, and watch us where we go,
And help us to be wise, in times when we don't know
Let this be our prayer, when we lose our way
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we'll be safe...

La luce che tu dai

I pray we'll find your light

Nel cuore resterà

And hold it in our hearts

A ricordarci che

When stars go out each night

L'eterna stella sei
Nella mia preghiera

Let this be our prayer

Quanta fede c'è

When shadows fill our day

Lead us to a place

Guide us with your grace

Give us faith so we'll be safe
Sognamo un mondo senza più violenza
Un mondo di giuztizia e di speranza
Ognuno dia la mano al suo vicino
Simbolo de pace e di fraternità

La forza che ci dai

We ask that life be kind

E' il desierio che

And watch us from above

Ognuno trovi amor

We hope each soul will find

Intorno e dentro a sé

Another soul to love

Let this be our prayer

Let this be our prayer

Just like every child

Just like every child

Need to find a place, guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe
E la fede che
Hai acceso in noi
Sento che ci salverà

enjoy :)

Isn't it lovely? This Labradorite heart is wire wrapped with copper wire and has two different design on them. A good stone shall not go wasted ; ) Took me about 6-7 hours to make!

I'm very pleased with this piece.

This was my first proper commishion. The brief was basicly to make a red hen of my own design. I wanted to make a proper 3-d plushie with wire frame this time, and i made plenty of mistakes along the way.
In the end though I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.

I offered to add some extras (the ribbion and rose) if they were wanted and they were so I added them. The bottom left is a picture of its.. bottom. I thought it was better to be realistic :)

Felt, fleece and some old patterened material. The feet were made from pipecleaners wrapped up. (If anyone could give me tips on using a wire frame for plushies I'd greatly appricate it!)

I made this journal for the House Rabbit Society's annual picnic raffle. The money raised will go to thier shelter costs.

I made all the paper from timothy hay (bunnies love the stuff) and abaca. The sewing is with regular thread and crochet thread is also used.

The size is about 5x9...

My dog, an elderly (perhaps senile) boston terrier. Also responds to “Mr. Fugly” and “Dawg.” He enjoys such activities as digging up the upholstery of the couches, blowing bubbles made out of his own drool, and working on his tan in the light of our patio door.

Stippling makes you do crazy things. Insane things. I got the urge to draw my dog—not only to draw my dog, but to draw every single hair on him. But instead of pen I went back to my element, the common graphite pencil. Drawn so I could put it in the school’s art show, basically. 14”X11”. More or less all 8B pencil. I’ll probably paint in some whiskers with some white acrylic later. Hated how this scanned…

Oils, 36 X 36.

Wow. Can't believe I got a DD on this. A lot of people made a similar comment - that this looks like a photo at first. It's not - it was painted the good old fashioned way, with oils. The brightest parts have the least amount of paint - the highlights on the face have actually been wiped out, with hints of pure, translucent Raw Sienna showing through. Same thing for the top of the couch, and parts of the arms. Anyhow, thanks to everyone who took a bit of time to look at my painting. I appreciate all the comments a great deal!

One last thing - to all who were interested - this piece is titled after the Muse song of the same name.

What an imaginative name I gave this!

Anyway, I don't know what possessed me to do a -pixelart- peacock, but I did. It was surprisingly fun actually, once I got started.

I love blue and white. =P

Thank you so much to everyone who has commented on this or added it to favourites! This is the most well-received piece I've submitted and I'm delighted and take it as inspiration that you like it.

I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though
It all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

She built her home in tear drops
And gave her heart to the sky.
She tied up leaves
Around her sleeves
And pretended she could fly.

One morning in mid Winter
On a day that felt more like Spring,
She opened her ears
To the sound of tears
And imagined she could sing.

Overhead the birds would sweep
In sunshine or in rain.
Part of a crowd
They were happy and proud
And ignorant of her pain.

With a final farewell to teardrops
She climbed the tallest tower...
In her silent voice
She made her choice
Knowing freedom was in her power.

With her gaze up to the heavens
She felt then only peace,
As she took one step more
That trailed across the floor
She finally sought release.

The world lit up in sun beams
As she soared high on makeshift wings,
And the birds gathered round
Because they had found
They could hear music when she sings.
I guess this is a sister poem to my previous one called "The Life and Death of the Puppet Girl". I think this one is a lot less dark when interpreted the right way; a lot more hopeful than the Puppet Girl. *shrug*

And the poem that goes with this image... I wrote it quite some time ago so it's very infantile :)

Also, if anyone's interested, it's quite reminiscent of the story of Kuchisake-Onna, google it if you want to know.
