A doe and her fawns pose on the tracks as a train creeps forward. The train was going 10MPH at the time. They stopped and the crew uncoupled from the train and slowly crept up towards the deer with the bell ringing to scare the creatures away. It worked. Just like typical deer, they just stood right in the way.

Hi there guys! This is a new image I did of the god of thunder. I hope you like it :)

Bamboo/PSCS/7hours/Music: Thor - Therion
www.youtube.com/watch?v=sejA1v…

Let´s wikiattack!

Thor (from Old Norse Þórr) is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, destruction, fertility, healing, and the protection of mankind. The cognate deity in wider Germanic mythology was known in Old English as Þunor and in Old High German Donar, from a Common Germanic *Þunraz "thunder".

Ultimately stemming from Proto-Indo-European religion, Thor is a prominently mentioned god throughout the recorded history of the Germanic peoples, from the Roman occupation of regions of Germania, to the tribal expansions of the Migration Period, to his extreme popularity during the Viking Age, where, in the face of the process of the Christianization of Scandinavia, emblems of his hammer, Mjöllnir, were worn in defiance and Norse pagans personal names containing the name of the god bear witness to his flourishing popularity. After the Christianization of Scandinavia and into the modern period, Thor continued to be acknowledged in rural folklore throughout Germanic regions. Thor is frequently referenced in place names, the day of the week Thursday ("Thor's day") bears his name, and names stemming from the pagan period containing his own continue to be used today.

In Norse mythology, largely recorded in Iceland from traditional material stemming from Scandinavia, numerous tales and information about Thor is provided. In these sources, Thor bears at least fourteen names, is the husband of the golden-haired goddess Sif. With Sif, Thor fathered the goddess (and possible valkyrie) Þrúðr; with Járnsaxa, he fathered Magni; with a mother whose name is not recorded, he fathered Móði, and he is the stepfather of the god Ullr. The same sources list Thor as the son of the god Odin and the personified earth, Fjörgyn, and by way of Odin, Thor has numerous brothers. Thor has two servants, Þjálfi and Röskva, rides in a chariot led by two goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr (that he eats and resurrects), and is ascribed three dwellings (Bilskirnir, Þrúðheimr, and Þrúðvangr). Thor wields the mountain-crushing hammer, Mjöllnir, wears the belt Megingjörð and the iron gloves Járngreipr, and owns the staff Gríðarvölr. Thor's exploits, including his relentless slaughter of his foes and fierce battles with the monstrous serpent Jörmungandr—and their foretold mutual deaths during the events of Ragnarök—are recorded throughout sources for Norse mythology.

I shot this during a nice walk near Grenoble, in the French Alps. I spent many time trying to take a good capture of the lake from the shore, my friends even had time to make a nap ! But the weather wasn't with me and the pictures didn't came out very well. But then we hiked over the lake and the clouds quickly went away, which allowed me to make that shot before they came back again :)

I got a little lazy on this stamp after a while.. maybe I'll upgrade it later =P

Am I the only one here that, when listening to music, just has to close my eyes to "see" my OCs doing something that goes well with the music ?.. Sounds weird, but it's hard to explain !

Anyway, feel free to use, but if so :+fav: is appreciated =D

The light of the key surrounded BouncerArceus, Wolf, Spark, Miki, and Kentsu.

Kentsu: Gah, whats going on?!
Miki: This light, I feel as if, there is an ancient past, something more powerful than any Digimon has ever possessed!
Wolf: This power, could it be rising mine to a new height?
Spark: I don't understand, w-what is this?
Bouncer: It cant be...

Everyone stares at Bouncer, Wolf, Spark, Miki, and Kentsu.

In Malefor's thoughts: Those five... They are more powerful than I thought, after the Key of Power uses much of its power on them, I can steal some of the power of what the key has left so I can corrupt Bouncer, she'll do my bidding forever... After all... She is the strongest of them all.

Huvak: Amazing!
Grox Leader: Yeah!
Haruki: The Key of Power, it possesses something like no other!
Fran: Wow!
Serpenna: Yeah! You go guys!
Crystal: YEEEEEEEEEEAH!
E.D.: Cool!
Kuna: Nice!!!
Metr: FUN!
Camo: Cool!
Marcus: N-NICE!!!!!!
Lyra: There are just barely any words to describe this!
Luna and Ventez: Agreed!
Shartrace, Tamini, Talili, Zap, and Trikal: ...

The Key disappeared after the power was used up, nobody knew that Malefor stole the rest of the key's power.

Bouncer: We should leave, we might have to fight more goblins just to get back, lets hurry.
Spark: It looks like Malefor, Shartrace, Tamini, Talili, Zap, and Trikal got a head start, lets hurry before the gate closes!
Everyone: Right!

So everyone went through the gate back to Earth...

What will happen to BouncerArceus and her friends? Find out in Part 12!

To be continued.

The drive had been pretty uneventful. The sun was hiding behind the clouds that was starting to form and no particular scenery were reveling itself to me. Anyone that have been shooting scenes before can probably relate to the frustration i was feeling.  Well, I had pretty much packed up my gear and was starting to get out of the spothunting mode, refilled my cup of coffee and hooked up some music on the stereo. Suddenly I noticed the sun peaking carefully out from the bottom edge of the clouds, almost to say "ok buddy, fine...", to give me a few minutes of pure magic.

I never cease to be amazed by the "golden hour", the hour before the sun goes to the bar and asks for a double :) I've driven past this spot several times before, always in grey conditions and flat light. This time the change was just bloody astronomical. The clouds were telling me that i had about a few precious minutes before all hell would come down my neck. I remember having goosebumps on my skin, mumbling to myself "DONT SCREW THIS UP..." hehe.

The final post RESULT ended up great. The light conditions is dramatic, pushing out the glorious colors of the trees and bringing up the contrast against the dark sky.

As seen in : www.flickr.com/photos/13091696…

Hope you enjoy it.

Stay safe.

My favourite image from a recent cosmos shoot in the Highveld region of South Africa with two good friends, Felix Reinders and Morkel Erasmus...

My mates were too scared to wander deeper into the patch of cosmos weed - I am not sure whether they were afraid of the possibility of a charge of buckshot in their rears from the farmer whose farm it was or whether it was because of the millions of mosquitoes with wing spans of about 2 meters... Well, I went all in and my rear is fine, but I am still itching from those mozzie bites...!

I recently visited Blyde River Canyon in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

I found this epic waterfall close to a hiking trail and decided to investigate, but there was no proper shooting angle through the trees - I saw a small island at the waterfall's feet and realized that it might be my only chance, as the island will be a distant memory when the summer rains come down. I braved the cold water with my bare feet and had an awesome time looking for some compositions under an overcast sky...
