Arrival of the Twins“Sit down Haru,” the petite blonde called from across the room. She gently patted the seat next to her, looking up at the older man as he anxiously paced the room. He'd been doing this since they arrived nearly fourteen hours ago. He wasn't the only one that was feeling anxious though. Across the room, faces mirroring his own expression stared back at him. “You should rest.”More Like This
“I should be in there,” the eldest Kobiru twin growled, grinding his teeth as the girl reached out and took his hand. He didn't pull away. A few hours earlier he had. And he hadn't been gentle about it either. He'd yanked his hand back, resulting in a pained expression on the blonde's usually cheerful face. The way he was feeling he wouldn't have cared about such a trivial matter, but he'd already hurt the blonde girl so many times since they'd met. It never seemed to dissuade her of course. That was just who Kiki was. He could break her heart over and over again and she'd still
Errand RunnerA soft sigh was heard from the young kunoichi as she looked over the list of tasks Buntaro had assigned to her. It was mostly minor errands, delivering paperwork to various sectors, though she squinted her eyes when she saw the mention of picking up dry cleaning. "I didn't advance to pick up dry cleaning..." she muttered to herself.More Like This
But, Moriko figured as she rolled up the scroll, if she finished these assignments quickly and accurately, maybe she can impress the Fujihara. Of course knowing what she knew of the Fujihara clan, they do not impress easily, and she doubted someone as high ranking as Buntaro would differ in that retrospect. She knew if she wanted any recognition she'd have to do her assignments efficiently and without complaint, but still find a way to stand out from the other ANBU. In Buntaro's eyes she could be nothing more then a weapon at his disposal. That was the harsh truth of shinobi.
First Moriko aimed to become on par with her friend Eita, who was stronger then sh
Jounin Exam 2: The Meaning Of No Regrets‘You know, it’d be nice if all these ‘life and death’ situations, didn’t happen while I was still in my pajamas.’ Eita thought wryly as he made his way through the forbidden forest at breakneck speed.More Like This
Night had recently fallen, signaling it was almost the end of the second jounin exam. Something Eita was grateful for. The first part had pushed him to and beyond his limits when faced with losing those he held dear in a genjutsu. Compared to that, surviving a week in the forest seemed questionably easy. He kept waiting for the next shoe to drop. After all the test had begun with them being kidnapped once again when they slept and thrown headfirst into survival. There was no way something that started that way could be as easy as it seemed. It had been though. For nearly the whole week it had just been about surviving the elements and wild animals.
Then just as he was drifting off to sleep moments earlier this night, the scream came.
Bingo BookHer hands trembled at the sight. Eimi couldn't believe it. Her knuckles turned white as she clenched the edges of the crudely made book. Aiko had sent one of his men to deliver it to her just moments earlier. It was all the information that the intelligence division had been able to gather about the enemy thus far. More information would come, but for now it was important to know what they were facing. The numbers. The enemy was twice Omoichidou's shinobi numbers. And she feared this difference would just continue to grow.More Like This
The past was changing. They knew that. Eimi had suspected it when she realized the pattern within the first of the vanished. Once the rift was discovered, it only confirmed her suspicion.
This just wasn't possible.
It couldn't be.
Eimi flipped back and forth between the numerous sheets that briefly detailed the known enemy shinobi, trying to will away the image on the last sheet. Trying to convince herself it wasn't true.
She closed the book on her d

~War assignments and rules~Yukiko played with a piece of paper as she waited to go on the pedestal. She watched Eimi make the announcement for a while, but it made her nervous so she went back to the paper. She didn't realize when Eimi finished her speech, but suddenly, she was given the signal to go up on the stage. She let out a sigh and looked up at Aiko. Aiko gave her a nod and the two ascended on the stage and to the pedestal. She noticed that Eimi and Hade didn't leave the stage, but stood behind the two temporary co-leaders. For some reason, this made her more nervous. People murmured amongst themselves, the last of which died down when Eimi cleared her throat.More Like This
"A-as you all know, war is upon us right now," Aiko said "and this is no ordinary war. One reason, the massive reduction in our numbers."
"We aren't sure why the people are going missing," Yukiko said "but we will get them back at any cost. On the other hand, we are on the verge of an attack soon. If we are unable to defend ourselves..... well, I d
