“Man I’m so sleepy…” White yawned again for the ninth time. With eyelids getting heavier by the minute, she turned her head and looked at N. The young man was still focused on the TV screen in front of them. White swore, if she screamed at his ear, she’d bet it still wouldn’t stir his attention. A snort burst through her lips. Well, it wasn’t something to be odd about. Tonight was showing a special documentary about Sinnoh’s Time and Space Legends: Dialga, and Palkia.
Her silly grin turned to a wide, honest smile. Raising her arms, she stretched again before casually dropping her head on his lap. The second her head touched something that could be used as a pillow, White felt like she was thrown in paradise. Without another word, she scooted closer and closed her eyes, throwing herself into a land of slumber.
N looked down at her; a soft, bashful smile tracing his mouth.
“I can do this,”

N pressed his finger against the bandage on his face, cringing. He wished his injuries would heal faster, he was tired of being cooped up in his room. Ghetsis had ordered N to stay in his room and rest until he had recovered. N didn’t understand why it was necessary for him to stay in his room while they worked on repairing the throne room.
He had spent his whole life in here. As he gazed at the familiar sights, he saw movement in the corner of his eye.
“Hello?” he said.
There was no answer.
N turned and looked at the toys in his room. He absent-mindedly pushed a train back and forth on the floor.
Another clatter behind him made him whip around. A little girl, about 6 or 7, was building a tower out of blocks behind him. As she placed a block at the top of the tower, it toppled over.
She started to place the colorful blocks on top of each other again.
“Who are you?” N demanded.
The little girl looked up at N,

Unova’s Pokémon League stood tall and proud as the pinnacle of Trainers in the region.
While its vast quantities of stairs, tall towers, and golden colors led it to be one of the most impressive and iconic landmarks in Unova, it was what lay underneath that made it interesting.
What was even more curious was the fact that no one in the League knew about what lay underneath the soil. Somehow, a giant castle had been built right under the League’s nose.
It had been furtively constructed over the years, its existence known only to a small handful of people.
Yet the event that was to occur in it today would change Unova’s future.
Deep within the bowels of this castle, a ceremony was preparing to take place. A coronation.
The throne room was packed with people, waiting.
And just outside the doors, a teen, dressed in special robes, waited with his caretakers.
One of them smoothed the shoulder of the teen’s robes.
“This is the time.

The blocks fell to the floor with a clatter. N numbly nudged one with his foot.
He sighed, and started again. He slowly put the blocks on top of each other, one by one.
As he put the final block on top, he let his hand drop to his side.
He smacked his hand through the tower, scattering the blocks again. This time, he didn’t feel like trying to build the tower again.
N drew his knees up to his chest and stared at the wall.
Then, the door to his room opened and light streamed in. N shielded his face from the blinding light and turned to look at the person standing in the doorway.
A young woman with long pink hair was standing with a small Pokémon in her arms.

She was the Champion now, and as he watched her dance, jealousy prickling at the surface, all he wished he could do was get up the courage to talk with her.

“No, I’m good,” N said quickly, waving his hand to dismiss the waiter who had offered him a drink.
He glanced back out into the large room before him, people crowding the gigantic space. Hundreds, maybe thousands had gathered for the ceremony, and what he was witnessing now was the celebration that took place afterwards.
It was a big deal when a new Champion was announced. It only happened once in a blue moon, and to be at the party was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
However N at the moment was thinking perhaps he would rather be somewhere else. Somewhere quiet, and away from her.
In all reality he wanted to be closer to her, talking to her, and celebrating with her. But he simply didn’t have the courage.
He had screwed up just about everything else in her life before t

White brushed her hand across the cold stone wall beside her. The Plasma castle, a place she had visited often over the past two years. She didn’t know why she felt such a strong connection to the place, but she figured it had something to do with the boy that had once resided in it.
Her steps were faster this visit however, and not because she was in a hurry, but because she was excited. She had seen something she had hoped to spot for nearly two years now, and she wanted to know if her eyes had played a cruel trick on her.
She had been walking out of the Pokémon League, after once again defeating Alder, and as she always did, she glanced up at the now crumbling tower. It would usually stir up memories, and she would feel a hint of longing, but this time something had caught her eye: a spot of green.
White had waited for the day N would return with baited breath, and now if she had seen right, surely he was back. A thought flew through her mind. What if it was only Ghetsis; the

After parting ways with White at Castelia, I could not shake her response to my question even weeks later. It was not normally in my nature to doubt myself, but when I thought of what White had said to me, I could feel my resolve faltering. She had added a new factor to my intricate formula and I was no longer sure of the solution. Was truth really subjective? How could so many truths exist? The feeling of hesitance was new to me.
I lifted my head to see Anthea and Concordia, whom I cared for deeply as sisters, though we were of no blood relation. They were standing at the door to my study wearing concerned glances. "Ah, yes, is there something you need?"
Anthea smiled warmly. "No, My Lord. But maybe there is something you need? We've noticed you haven't been acting yourself lately. Please tell us what is troubling you, dear N."
I closed my eyes and sighed. "I don't feel like myself as of late," I told them. "I find myself contemplating whether or not what I am doing is reall

IN PRAISE OF THE RELEASE OF ORAS!
You didn't know whether to smile or cry.
As Wally's Gallade collapsed onto the ground, you could only stare in shock, your own (starter) pausing as well. The battleground was quiet- it was almost terrifying, yet you were almost glad it was over. Your relief vanished quickly when the jade-haired boy recalled his faithful companion. Your heart plummeted six feet under, and you did the same with your own Pokemon. Should you have gone easy on him?
But Wally only laughed.
