Summary: Maka has a song stuck in her head
"Soul?" Maka walked into the room where Soul was watching TV. It was some boring show that she did not understand, and Soul did not seem that interested in it.
"Could you turn that off please? I need to ask you a question." Soul glanced over, and she was giving him the "this is a really important question that you should be able to answer" look, a look that he knew all too well. The weapon sighed, grabbed the remote from the table, and turned off the TV.
"Well, what's your very important question, tiny tits?" Maka blushed furiously at her partner, and gave him a good Maka Chop on his head.
"Stop calling me that!!! It's not my fault that I'm under developed. And, I have a song stuck in my head.&

"Yes, Soul?" I asked.
We were on our way to the Acdemy. He stoped and turned half way.
"Do you like me?" He asked, worry colouring his voice. I raised my eyebrow before answering.
"No, I live in an apartment with you, because I hate you." The sarcsme in my voice was thick, almost tangible. He frowned, his brow knitting together.
"That's not what I ment". The frustration greatly evident.
I stoped walking, "Oh?" My voice quavering some.
"And what did you mean, Soul?" I whispered. It would be just like him to make a joke of this. I let my eyes wonder around the alley way, looking for Black*Star with a camcorder. If he was there, I couldn't find him.
Soul sighed and leaned against the alley wall, muttering what souded like "Stupid girls."
I squeezed my boooks, restraining from giving him a good Maka-Chop. I kept silent though, waiting for him to continue.
He avoided my gaze momentarily, letting his eyes wonder.
"Maka," He began, "I like you. More then is cool to say out loud

Back in the red and black room, Soul had sat down by the table and was rubbing his temples.
What am I thinking? he groaned between clenched teeth, Quitting?
He moved his hands from his head and sat on the side of the chair with one arm rested on top of the chair back and the other rested on the table. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling.
What would I have to look forward to? Being a stupid pianist? Soul set both of his elbows back on the table and put his hands to his cheeks.
The Demon sighed of relief. Annoying teenagers, the Demon thought. Its a good thing theyre so easy to mold, though.
Now, I have to get out of here and take care of Maka. Shes probably worried sick, Soul sighed and there was a long pause. The Demon grinned.
Its the wound thats keeping you from going, isnt? the Demon guessed. Soul didnt reply, he knew the Demon was wasting hi

The next few days, Soul remained in bed. He was able to walk around the room but he couldnt leave because the wound on his back still needed more time to heal, that and he was refusing to leave.
He did not want to have to go out there, face Maka and then eventually go through this AGAIN. The Demon was furious with him and kept trying to convince Soul that he couldnt stay in the Dispensary forever. Akiko was unknowingly agreeing with him and tried to get Soul to go outside for fresh air.
After a while, it finally started to get to him. Soul was starting to worry about what was going on. No one was visiting him and the responsibility of being a weapon was rearing its ugly head to him. He knew Maka was pretty tough but she couldnt fight a Pre-Kishin on her own. Soul tried but couldnt stop thinking about how she was doing.
He wanted to ask but the only who on duty when he was awake was the worrying Akiko. Soul couldnt ask

In the Crescent Moon class, everyone awaited their teacher, Dr. Steins, arrival. Soul and Maka uncomfortably sat by each other. They were still trying to get over what happened the past couple weeks. Even so, neither could wait for Souls recovery party after school.
Maka was busy reading a book and Soul had his elbows on the table and tried to space out. He had trouble zoning-out with all the noise so he just there with his eyes looking around the room. He looked back at Maka, who continued to read.
Theyve become so distant. Now, theyre just Weapon and Meister. Makas gonna suck at the party, if I dont cheer her up, Soul thought. But Im not gonna do some lame joke like her desperate dad.
Maka was looking over the pages of a book shes read count-less times when her pigtail was tugged on as Soul wrapped his finger around it.
Ow! Soul, what are you doing? Maka angrily asked as she
Soul Eater: Maka's Love Story Maka was quietly sitting at her desk with an open book at 5:47. She read over the printed words but her mind was wandering as she was mindlessly reading the words, she thought to herself. I wonder how Soul is? He hasnt called me today. The last time we talked was yesterday.More Like This
Soul was currently in Orlando, Florida with his family, the Evans. He wasnt going to come back Death City until Wednesday and it was Saturday. Maka couldnt stop wondering, waiting and thinking about his return. She shut her book in frustration. It was useless for her to try to take her mind off of it. Reading was useless, she called Black Star twice with no answer, Kid was on a mission, Blair was at work and even her Papa wasnt around. She didnt know if he was busy with the tasks of a Death Scythe or if was just messing around and she didnt really want to know. She sighed and pushed her book away.

Maka was sitting by a small metal black table in a black chair in a dark room. A candle on a black pole revealed the dark walls, black and red checkered floor, and dark red curtains. She was wearing a long black dress and had on black bows that held up her pig tails.
She suddenly turned and saw Soul standing in the middle of the room. He was wearing a black and red tux and was softly smiling.
Soul? Maka quizzically called out. He grinned.
You mind dancing with me? he nonchalantly asked. Maka blinked.
However, she found her and Soul slowly swaying side to side with Soul leading. She then heard jazz music that just started to play in the background. Or was it already playing? Maka wondered. She didnt hear anything before. She glanced at Soul and realized she was spacing out as he was gazing at her. Maka looked away for a moment.
Soul, whats going on? Maka asked. Soul quietly chuckled.
