Fan art. A lot of people start out with it, right? Right. Well there comes a time when sometimes a person looks at their stuff and goes: "Gee, I should do more of my original style/art for !" That's all fine and dandy, but of course they are then faced with the task of *gasp* telling their watchers!
That's the part I don't get. That's where this rant is going to start.
When a person decides they want to broaden their horizons from their fan art, Great! Awesome! go for it! I'm sure there's only the occasional tard that will scream and cry they are not drawing a certain show/style anymore. And lets face it, you don't have to worry about pleasing some 12 year old with way too much time on their hands.
But what I don't get? And believe me, I see this a lot. Is some person making a HUGE spectacle of them stopping their fan art. I hate to tell you?
