Journal about how ur opinion doesnt matterHello yes this is a journal attempting to explain why ur opinion doesnt matter to the artist 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time where it does matter are the following:More Like This
1. If you are commissioning them
2. If they actually ask you for your opinion
If it's neither of those then shhh.
Now I wanna clarify a few thing
1. It's okay to have an opinion on someone's work, everyone does.
2. It's okay to express it, it's okay to have a personal response to an artist's work
3. HOWEVER it's not ok to pull in personal opinion in a self entitled manner and pretend it matters. AND THEN GET UPSET when the artist dont care.
Differences between things:
Constructive criticism =/= opinion:
Not the same !! Criticism isnt 100% objective but is generally way less biased than opinion. Telling someone you preferred their old work isnt criticism. Telling someone that you'd have preferred something to be drawn another way isnt criticism. (A whole other issue, sometimes criticism isnt wanted but that's not

I'll be out of town tomorrow through Wednesday of next week. Communication via comments, notes, and email will still be possible while I'm gone but I won't be working on, sending out, or posting any art (…or doing anything that would be a pain in the butt without a real keyboard). I've also notified everyone with an active commission with me of this individually.I'm back at my computer and regular activity has resumed.
This is also a reminder that my OC contest closes at the end of this month. There's still plenty of time to enter if you're interested and want some free art from me. (Details below.)

Mesti Datang! The HobbyCon 2013 Experience!Earlier this year, my friends and I were invited to be overseas guests for HobbyCon in Sabah, Malaysia.More Like This
Time flew by very fast, and before we knew it...
Our first day was spent doing a lot of eating, thanks to our guide Alyssa I will justify it as us fueling up for an action-packed weekend! We tried nasi lemak for the first time (LOVED IT), had some shaved ice desserts after, then a big dinner of clay pot rice, stir-fry noodles with clams, really tasty chicken wings, etc. and THEN we still raided Pick N' Pay for our midnight snacks because we love convenience stores and we wanted to try things we don't have in Manila.
We planned our cosplays ahead with Team Kachang Puteh, the guests from Singapore. Our theme for the first day of HobbyCon was Shingeki no Kyojin!

If you just said "me," keep reading—you'll change your mind by the end of this article. (If you don't, I reserve the right to send a drone to your house. Isn't living in The Future great?!) What is "science fiction"?
In my opinion, Science Fiction is any story that uses present or future science or technology as a key component, or where it provides the required underlying fabric on which the story is built. Future science or technology is speculative by nature, a

Protect Your WorkFor many artists, art theft is a frustrating reality. No matter how we watermark, logo, or constrain the resolution of our work, there are instances where artwork will be reposted, ripped, or used for commercial gain without credit or compensation. For some, this can be almost flattering, to know that there are those that like your work enough to steal it. But, the fact still remains, that your work has been used without permission, and for no gain of your own.More Like This
I have been a photographer for four years now, and throughout that time I am always learning. Part of that education is around copyright, and how to protect my work. The collage above is a brief representation of some of the ways my photography has been stolen. Some were edited without permission, event advertisements, included in a calendar, manipulated to advertise jewelry, sold on canvas, for promoting a cosmetic brand, or even for music videos.

It’s rare that a “new” iconic monster is born and becomes forever identifiable,—— no matter the variations, by generation after generation. So it was when George Romero created the ultimate “zombie” in his Night of the Living Dead in 1968. Zombie Apocalypse fans today may have never heard of George or seen the original “Night,” but the zombies they so love in fare like The Walking Dead owe their existence to Romero’s original vision.

Art SchoolFrom what I've viewed around dA, the general consensus about "art school" is that it's an enormous waste of both time and money. Stories about pretentious professors, failed experiments, and unsupportive families get a lot of attention. I think there are aspiring artists out there who enter art schools with the idea that everything they learn will be intuitive and that there is no real need to understand much less study the very basics because that would make them "mindless sheep." Others don't receive enough support from friends or family and cannot complete their education. There's validity to both arguments, and I've dealt with both.
