York psychologist, Professor Arthur Arun, has been studying why people fall in love.
He asked his subjects to carry out the above 3 steps and found that many of his couples felt deeply attracted after the 34 minute experiment. Two of his subjects later got married.
This experiment is about to be tested on a class of teenagers on the planet Gallifrey, as a study on 'human affection', and, of course, how silly it is. It is meant to be treated as a sort of free day, and not to be taken too seriously. (Although, if there is one thing Time Lords are good at, it's being serious.) The class instructor isn't expecting his pupils to actually feel any sort of attraction, because, after all, Gallifreyans are not supposed to have sex drives.
