Loosing something was a concept Robotnik fully understood on both sides. It was a harsh fact that he never denied its existence or its truth. Loss was a part of the world and something every person would have to face in the end, no matter how much one would make attempts to prolong it.
He didn’t sugar the matter to himself. He knows well what the feeling is like to loose something important… or feeling how it was necessary to take something away from another.
