TKC-Point systemWhat is the Point System?More Like This
The point system was created to give something back for those drawings you make and the titles you earn. You dont have to do this, it's only for fun. Point systems are made to encourage people to draw their dogs, and also to have a goal to reach for. The points are not the dA currency points, it's just a made up system, think of it as experience points just like a game.
SIMPLE GUIDEFor example, if you created a new dog without any parents, the dog starts with 0xp, every single thing the dog earns and every drawing you make of the dog gives the dog xp, eventually when the dog has gathered enough xp the dog may be awarded one of our 5 ranks. XP may also be passed on to offspring.
You can not earn a title from TKC if the drawing was made for a different group or contest not hosted by TKC.
You can not count 1 image twice, that would be considered cheating,

○ The dog and kennel must be recognized as members of Canine Associates.
○ Dogs and bitches of any age have the ability to earn points.
○ Only the current owner of the canine can collect points for that animal. If the dog is sold, points will be transferred.
How to Collect Points
It depends heavily on how frequently you draw the canine, but points are fairly easy to earn and add up. If you keep up and focus on one dog at a time, that animal can easily reach the Elite Blood; only persistence and patience, though, will help you accomplish that feat.
○ Reference sheet - Three points
○ Dog is a starter - One point
○ Dog has a known sire and dam that are existing characters - Two points
○ Dog has a known grand sire and grand dam - Three points
○ Dog has breeding images drawn by the owner - Two points
○ Dog has purebred offspring - Two points per litter
○ Dog has mixed offspring - One point per litt
