Threatening Emails (Mens Rights Activists are sad)I've noticed lately that internet forums like DA, youtube, and reddit are teeming with "Men's Rights Activists" who fight against feminism, say that women can't be gamers, try to downplay the significance of rape, deny the existence of gender wage gaps, and seem to spend every waking moment anonymously trolling and making up statistics about how men are really the one's shut out of politics and big business.More Like This
These people are the inheritors of a tradition of anti-women politics that is easy to trace back to the push in the last century to keep women from getting the right to vote, or more recently to have the right to be in the military.
They're on the wrong side of history, but there are plenty or racist and anti-gay "movements" for which that is equally true.
Feminism is the push for equal political, economic, and social rights for women. You have to willfully twist the meaning of that pretty hard to attack it.
