With the moonstone tucked safely in Ortensia's backpack, she and Gus looked over Oswald's shoulder as he read the next riddle.
"Curiouser and curiouser, this green claw cuts yet has power to cure."
He squinted at the page.
The others looked startled as he slammed the book shut with a frustrated groan.
"I know Master Yen Sid's tryin' to keep the wrong people from getting the potion, but didn't he ever think someone might really need it in a hurry? What the heck has a green claw?"
Ortensia gently placed a hand on his shoulder, but he could tell she was trying her best not to giggle.
"Ozzie, don't you pay any attention to the classics? 'Curiouser and curiouser', that's from Alice in Wonderland, remember?"
Oswald thought for a moment, then looked slightly sheepish.
Ortensia smiled and nodded.
"And there's only one attraction here related to that."
"Ah, yes!" Gus exclaimed. "The Curi
A Link to the Heart Ch.1Two months, that's how long it had been since the Blot had been defeated and Mickey had gone back to the real world. It had also been two months since Oswald had been able to finally get rid of his hatred for the mouse. No longer was Mickey a thing of hatred for Oswald and Oswald could actually say the mouse's name without anger in his voice. Oswald could tell the world that Mickey Mouse was his little brother without envy for his fame and without hatred in his heart. Mickey had long since repaired the damages that he had inadvertently caused when he accidently created the Blot and Mickey had bought back Oswald's darling Ortensia back from being a petrified statue. Mickey had also helped out many of the citizens of the Wasteland with their own problems be they big or small.More Like This

To be honest, she was getting a little concerned it was almost one already, and she hadn't heard from him since last night. Then, as she headed downstairs, her phone rang. Minnie's face brightened and she hurried over to pick it up.
"Hello?" she asked eagerly.
"H hi y', Minnie "
Her concern quickly returned at how Mickey sounded; his breathing was raspy and his voice was hoarse and tired.
"I'm real sorry, Min, but I " He broke off with a rough cough, and then continued. "I think I'm gonna have t' rain check for today." Minnie frowned as she heard more coughing.
"That's okay Mickey, but are you all right?" Mickey cleared his throat, which didn't seem to help much, and then responded.
"I'm fine just got a bit of flu. Nothing that " He coughed again. "That won't go away in a few days." Minnie s
My Brother Part 2Awareness came back slowly and reluctantly. Oswald let out a groan; his head felt like a house fell on it and his limbs were stiff as wood.More Like This
As he shifted on the soft surface he was laying on, a soft gasp came to his ears. His aches and pains instantly shrank to a pinprick and the rabbit pushed his eyes open, blinking at the low light.
Any further speech was interrupted by a tight hug and passionate kiss, which he happily returned. He felt tears on his fur as Ortensia nestled into his chest.
"Thank heaven you're all right," she whispered. "I was so worried."
Feeling guilty, Oswald gently rubbed her head between the ears, smiling as she started purring.
"Don't cry, 'Tensia," he said softly. "I'm sorry, but I had to "
His eyes widened in alarm.
Oswald sat up, grunting at the resulting throb in his head.
"Be careful!" Ortensia exclaimed, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm fine," he said, rubbing his head. "Is Mickey okay?"
Ortensia bit her lip
Control FreakSonic burst into the top tower room in the old house, his eyes searching for the source of his distress.More Like This
The room was dark, a flicker of lightning showing the outline of a teenage girl. As Sonic approached, he saw the girl. She had shoulder length chestnut brown hair with streaks of gold, pale skin, and eyes that changed color every few moments. They settled on emerald green as they locked on the few sheets of crumpled paper on the desk.
On the old wooden desk were sheets, written pages fastened into a fabled leather notebook. A neat black pen with a single golden streak curved into letters scribbled onto the sheets in a single word: Author.
"Hello, Sonic," the author said quietly. Her eyes remained on her work. "How may I help you?"
"I need you to stop writing about me!" he blurted out. His ears bent down to his head.
She chuckled and shook her head. "You said yourself that you love to go on adventures. Do you not love the adventures I put you through?"
"Well, actually, they

Mickey felt exhausted. His body still hurt from being kicked off the top of a building by a Seer and blasted by a Spladoosh. But he had been able to dose the remaining Blotlings with paint and turn them good before anymore serious damage could be done. As he climbed the stairs, he could hear the tapping of Oswald's foot on the concrete.
" Really, Mouse. You got to stop playing around. I've been waiting here for months," said the white and black rabbit as Mickey walked up the steps. Mickey had come back to the Wasteland to help repair some of the damage caused by the Shadow Blot. But even after destroying the Shadow Blot and saving both their worlds, Oswald still hated Mickey even though they had made a very uneasy truce.
" Thanks for your concern. I nearly died in thinner, Os!"Mickey exclaimed at the rabbit.
" Like I care," muttered Oswald. Mickey had had it. Enough was enough.
" I've had enough, Oswald. Why do you hate me? Why? Answer me!" Mic

"Don't touch that!" The rabbit whines and snatches the toy away from the younger mouse, both with black fur and looking surprisingly similar only that the mouse has rounded ears and the rabbit's ears are long. Their black eyes, that catch their chestnut glint in the fluorescent light, are locked into a battle of power and dominance, but the baby mouse, who is much smaller than the rabbit, blinks furiously. His bottom lip trembles and he whimpers. The rabbit's ear's fold back as he mouse lifts up his head and starts wailing loud, all he wanted to do was see it, to be like the rabbit. Footsteps can be heard coming towards the direction of the living room, the rabbit jumps, his huge eyes even wider as he looks at the wailing young mouse. His eyes go back to the soldier action figure in his tight grip, and then looks at the mouse again. He hops over as he runs, quickly trying to get the little one to stop crying by showing him he can have the town.

Oswald: Happy Birthday, DadHappy Birthday, DadMore Like This
That is what this day has been.
We went to pay our respects to Dad earlier today; Mickey, the kids, and I. After that was all said and done, we headed back home to Disneyland. I was still clutching the present I had been carrying around all day.
At first, I thought I was going to set it down when we went to pay our respects, but something stopped me. A feeling. Perhaps intuition? I don't know, but something didn't feel right about it. Leaving it there outside, exposed to the elements, wild creatures, and who knows what else. Instead, I decided to hold onto it until we got back home. This probably seemed strange, but the others silently understood.
We soon headed back to Disneyland. As we entered the park, I told Mickey and the kids that there was something I needed to do and that I would catch up with them later. They agreed and I promised to be back in a little while. Before leaving, my brother turned to me and put his hand on
