What a Pleasant Surprise
Dirk grumbled in frustration as as he fumbled with his computer to try and keep the skype call going. He was skyping his closest friend,Jake English. Jake lived on an island very far away from Dirk, so it was no surprise that the connection was bad. Soon enough though, Jake's face appeared on the screen again and the connection was semi decent. At least he could hear him now.
"Bloody hell," Jake sighed, "technology is such a bother."
Though infuriated by the hassle it took to get the video to work, Dirk tried to put it behind him as he chuckled at Jake's British accent.
