Dear Deviant Art,If you're reading this, you've probably noticed that, lately, I've had some trouble finding time to participate fully on Deviant Art. I miss it so much, but I am also happy to have a new job, which is taking up most of the time I had left after all the writing, editing, and publishing stuff was done for the day. I want to get back into Deviant Art, but I can't foresee how I'll do that in the near future. At the same time, I you guys a lot, so I'd like to make an offer to anyone who has been reading my work here.More Like This

We don't ever end up being half as good as we THINK we are, do we? All artists--myself included--have a highly overblown value of their work. We're too close. We know the hours put in. We think that is enough. We see the progress. We adore the process. It's a sickness.....
We're the first to bitch when things don't go our way. It is obviously the game that is rigged....being "humble" in our comments only shows how deeply we're scarred.....
If your art was rejected, ignored, overlooked....there is probably a reason for it, unknown & unbelievable to your ego.
