A Proud MomentThose of you who know me well enough will get this.More Like This
My granddaughter Elizabeth Anne is an apprentice hairdresser and a pretty swanky salon. Now, Elizabeth and I were best buddies when she was a kid, and we spent a lot of time together, so I was bound to have some influence over her personality, yes?
A few days ago she told me this little tidbit. She was doing a woman's hair at the salon, and was almost finished. She said, "I have just a few more things to do and I'll be out of your hair." She told me that she didn't know she was going to say that until the words were leaving her mouth. This is the sort of thing that happens to me all the time. It's like some kind of punny auto-pilot. Anyway, I burst with pride hearing this. A tear formed on my eye.
That's my girl!!!
