I wake up in my bed in my dorm. The TV's on in another room, letting me know Sam's here. I think it's Sunday? It's too hard to remember what happened, so I get up slowly and ask Sam.
"Holy crap," she starts. "So Axel hit you with a door again, and you looked like you were gonna pass out, so he made sure you got here safely. You were already asleep when we got here, so he carried you through the girl's dorm!"
I have a hard time believing her. That is, until I see Axel's number in my phone and two messages from him: "hey" and "still asleep?" I decide to keep this from Sam. And the book I remember picking up.
"Im awake now," I text back to Axel. I don't expect a reply from a rockstar, but my phone vibrates seconds later.
"Good feelin better?"
"Sry 4 hittin u twice."
This goes back and forth a while until Sam notices. "Who are you texting so furiously?" she asks with a laugh. "Meet a guy at the concert?"
"Yeah," I reply. Well it's not a lie.

"Olivia!" I hear my college roommate scream. "You'll never guess what I just got!"
I look up from my laptop to see her bouncing with joy and holding two tickets. "No way," I say.
"Yes way! We're going to see Axels and Thorns!"
I jump up and scream, hugging my friend and bouncing with her. Axels and Thorns is the hottest rock band. Like ever. "How did you get these?!" I ask Sam. She hates it when people call her Samantha, and honestly I think Sam fits her so much better.
"Jake's dad knows a guy."
Right. Her boyfriend, the son of a big-time music producer. Of course tickets to A&T would be easy for him to get. Either way, I still thank her . "You're the best, Sam!"
"I know," she laughs.
"We need to go shopping!"
A few hours later, we're in the middle of a store trying on everything we like just because we can. "What do you think?" Sam asks, coming out of the dressing room in black skinny jeans and combat boots.
"That's perfect," I say with a smile.

"You're not gonna let me leave, are you?" I ask him.
"That book..." he starts. "Where did you get it?"
I pull my jacket tighter around me, knowing he knows the book's hidden in it. "That's none of your business."
"What if I make it mine?" He wraps an arm around me and pulls me against him.
Get out of here, I tell myself. It won't end well...
Before I can do anything, Axel's lips that have been making girls faint for years are on mine. They're soft, unlike his music, and I feel my face flush as he slides his free hand through my blonde hair. I let myself relax and wrap my arms around his neck as he tilts his head, sliding his tongue behind my lips. Then I hear the shutter of a camera.
Axel jumps to the window to see a random guy in all black running away. He flips the paparazzi off, then turns to me. "Don't be surprised if you're on the front page tomorrow." He swears under his breath, but all I can think about is the kiss. Not even the book crosses
Free To Be You and Me - Three-More Like This
5 years later
Although Phil was now twenty-three, and has just completed University at York, and he seemed to have his life put together for him, and has had other boyfriends, he still hasn’t forgotten about Dan. So much has happened in the last five years – good, bad, and ugly – and he’s gotten over most of it without a scratch. But Dan, when Dan left he left a scar on Phil. A deep, ugly scar that doesn’t want to go away, no matter what you do. Sometimes Phil still gets sad over the inevitable break up, and sometimes he’s glad it happened. He’s had five years to think it all over and he’s still not sure if he wishes Dan ran after him that night, or approached him at school.
Of course he’s sure; he still wishes that Dan came back that day. Maybe things would’ve been different.
Most of Phil’s relationships after Dan have ended because in the end, he still loved Dan, and he’s afraid a part of hi

Phil was cackling from his place on Dan's bed as he watched his said friend struggle out of the green dinosaur suit. "Need help there Dan?" he chuckled.
Dan shot him a dirty look and wiggled out of the costume and managed to get his arms free, ripped the buttons open, shoved the suit down his legs, and kicked it off; or more like flailed his right leg to get it off of him.
"That was disastrous!" Dan exclaimed. "There's cereal all over the floor and my walls!"
"I had fun," Phil shrugged.
"Yea, with shooting bits of cereal at me at a shotgun speed!" Dan growled. He rubbed at his face that was dry and itchy with the cereal dust. "But that was interesting."
"Nothing broken, right?" Phil mused as he took in the damage of Dan's room and the light bruises on Dan's knees.
"My dignity," Dan pouted.
Phil laughed. "I don't believe you have any of that left," he pointed out. He couldn't lie, Dan did still look adorable with his pout and r
