It was a breezy autumn afternoon when school was let out for the day, and a little girl decided to take the shortcut home. She had managed to get her hands on the final pieces needed for a special project she was working on, and she was eager to get home and finish it. As the little blonde girl walked quickly down the street, people turned their heads to stare at the odd white cat ears that stuck out of her hair, or at the fuzzy white tail that hung out of her lower back. Most had never seen a neko before, but some thought the ears and tail were just silly accessories from the local costume shop. Still, that didn't stop the kids at school from picking on her endlessly.
