Downpour - Aomine Daiki x ReaderMore Like This
Running the towel through your hair, you caught a whiff of something and sighed. Of all the shampoo scents Aomine owned, it had to be something as masculine as this. It wasn’t that you were expecting strawberries and melons, but still. Using the same shampoo as him… something about it was incredibly weird, and maybe even embarrassing.
You glanced over at the basket on the ground, filled with your soaked clothes. Getting caught in a downpour wasn’t exactly your idea of fun, more or less with him, of all people. Luckily he didn’t live too far from the school, but it was just the two of you now. When your gaze landed on the counter, you found the pile of borrowed clothes and went through them a bit more carefully. Some gray shirt with a blue logo on it that was definitely way too big on you and another pair of indigo-coloured shorts that were also oversized. Luckily it came with a drawstring, so maybe if you tied a tight enough knot it would cling to your hips eno

Biting the tip of your pen you tuck your (h/l) (h/c) behind your ear trying to solve the “Daily Sudoku” in the Tokyo newspaper. A grunt is heard from your kitchen followed by the sounds of various boxes dropping to the ground. Eye twitching a bit you choose to ignore it, adjusting your legs you pull them back from resting on the coffee table to tuck them underneath your body. Nibbling on your bottom lip you press your pen forward to fill in an empty slot.
Rip. Crunch. Grunt. Thud. Rip. Crunch. Grunt. Thud. Are heard coming from your kitchen.
A tick appears on your eyebrow as you try to concentrate on the Sudoku in front of you, only a couple more left then I will go in and check on… Hearing a crash you huff out frustrated. Dropping the newspaper on the couch you stomp your way to the kitchen to see your best friend slash crush, Aomine, squatting down trying to hide the broken glass, a protein

“Aomine…” You whisper, your soft voice still reverberating lightly in the quietude of the camp site. The basketball team, Touou, claimed one of the strongest titles between all highschools. Yet summer camp was an inevitable stop for them, and this two story villa housed the team gratefully. Somehow you were forced along without your consent, aiding Moimoi in her conquest to strengthen the teams spl

An unwavering feeling of restlessness flowed through my body as I tossed and turned in my bed for the thousand time that night. By now, I had been in several positions, my blanket abused and neglected many times as I went on. For one, I was spread out flat on the mattress, a foot or a hand dangling over the edge of the bed as the blanket covered the rest of my uncooperative body. The warmth and cold had to be spread out evenly, duh. Groaning, I turned over and held my knees close to my face as I nuzzled myself into the fuzzy blanket that kept me from freezing on a cold winter night like this one. My toes curled as a shiver went down my spine by the chilly breeze that came in from underneath the curtains.
The irresistible urge to open my eyes and look at the uninteresting ceiling was overwhelmingly great. My eyes fluttered open as the sleepiness other than the fatigue just didn't want to kick in. Raging with anger, I kicked my feet in the air and turned my body to suppress the loud groa

"Isn't Aomine just-."
"Hot, sexy, incredibly alluring? You interrupted your friend before she could begin her dreamy spew, "No, he isn't."
"How would you know?" Your friend scoffed and whacked your arm good-naturedly, "You rarely look up anyways."
You shrugged, keeping your nose on your book. It wasn't your fault that you'd been so preoccupied the last few weeks. You'd found a new book series and HAD to finish it.
You were on the seventh book and the character who should've died in every book starting from the third still hadn't. You had a bundle of cheerful screams and happy tears that had yet to be released.
You weren't going to stop until the character finally got offed and you could release your tears.
Your friend rolled their eyes, "Seriously (Name), look up every once in a while. You've probably missed a lot of important things." She advised quietly.
"Yeah, sure, like what?" You snorted.
"How am I supposed to know?"
"I rest my case."
Your friend groaned and shook her head, "You'r

Most of the time, New Erou City was quiet, peaceful, mudane.
“AHAHAHAHAHA! THE HERO IS HERE!” You scowled, head twisting round quickly as you glared darkly at the man standing on the bridge behind you. He pointed a gloved finger at you accusingly as you turned completely, your hand holding tight onto the bag you’d ever so kindly relieved the bank of. “PUT DOWN THE MONEY, (SV/N)!” You raised an eyebrow, already running backwards and gesturing rudely to the superhero.
“When have I been one to do as you say, America?” You called back, your own voice unable to replicate the volume his could reach (you were certain that was his superpower, the ability to deafen someone) but still loud enough for him to hear. You didn’t waste any time in properly running away, making a hasty retreat.
There was the dull thud of America jumping off the bridge and (probably) landing in a stupid position before he started chasing after you.

One. Two. Three. You counted waiting for him to finish and leave you in bed like he did every time he came into your room. He didn’t ask for permission because he knew you couldn’t object. He didn’t kiss you or hugged you wasn’t gentle or showed any affection to you what so ever. You knew he was simply using you and you let him.
You had always admired him and slowly that admiration started turning into something prohibited. Something that was dangerous for people with a job like yours. You started developing feeling towards him. Of course they were purely platonic and you would probably never act on them. But being the romanticist you were once you started imagining how being with him would be like.
You started imagining how he would change for you. How he would love you and show you every time he had the chance. That he would kiss you so tenderly that you would go flying straight to heaven. That never happened. Slowly you started changing. Slowly your bubbly an
