Fall had arrived as it did every year in November. The cold air from the North brought a chill to the area and left everyone reaching for blankets and coffees. Under paws, you heard the ripe, crisp, “crunch” of dead leaves that had fallen off of trees overhead. You knew it was Autumn because the days were now becoming shorter and the days were getting cooler and breezier. One wolf in particular was taking advantage of the time being, not because of the season, but due to work.
Phoenix had worked enough hours to be able to save up enough money in order for Naomi and him to move somewhere else. They decided not to go far. In fact, they only moved a couple of streets over to where a new development had begun. The houses were mid-sized on the large side of that design, and featured nice scenery. What made things a bit out of the ordinary for time being was that it was one week from Thanksgiving. No one really knew why he decided to do this, but he mu
