Illustration I did for the cover of Aussie band All Eyes On Saturn's EP album, When the Shadows Find Their Homes. They were a ton a fun to work with. The more 'professionals' you work with the more you appreciate the people who are easy to work with. Plus they were hilarious!

The Oracle can be found in an old grey barn ten miles west off Route 93. Present the Oracle with a field mouse or similar sacrifice and then ask your question. If the sacrifice is to the Oracle's liking, and it feels like being cooperative, one of its two faces will speak to you. Be warned that one face is good while the other is evil. If you are lucky the good face will answer your question. If you are unlucky the evil face will speak and tell you something terrible, something you wish you had never heard.

Blahdy blah, boring story; kid is favored by the fairies (my type of fairies; not tiny hot women with butterfly wings. The type that might try to eat you or enslave you or make you dance until your ankles are bloody stumps.) So one fairy - the guy with the bird head - shows the kid into the fairies' aquarium, which is a lake that you can enter by means of a tunnel of magic glass bubbles.
It tends to drip water in there, so the kid brought his umbrella like the tiny gent he is.

The octopus is based off of a stylized black octopus I saw on a Greek urn. The weird chicken rooster eel serpent thing is something I saw on a Renaissance map. Those orange striped dudes are just almost-frog-tadpoles with cool colors. The seaweed monster thing is a (my style) mermaid; the face and arms (?) of a lady and the body of a leafy seadragon.

I'll stop drawing knee socks one of these days. Today is not that day.

Tools: Watercolor, sepia ink, white liquid acrylic, photoshop
