As you sat at your desk working on the mountains of paperwork that surrounded you, your door silently opened. Just as quietly, Cloud walked to where you were sitting and gently placed his hand on your shoulder. “Hey, are you busy?”
You almost fell out of your seat when he touched you. “Gee Cloud, you scared me half to death. Why do you have to walk around like a ninja?” Pressing your hand onto your chest, you could feel your heart beating rapidly.
“Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.” The tone of his voice was so apathetic, and quiet, it made you doubt whether or not he was actually sorry. “So, are you busy? If you've got a couple of minutes, there's something I wanted to show you.”
It seemed that Cloud had completely overlooked the current state of your desk. There were papers stacked on every inch of it, not to mention all over your floor and bed. “Well, I am a little bit busy, but I guess I could take a little break.”
