She Loves Her LilyOf course she loves her lilyMore Like This
Who would want a rose?
Petals a pure white
(not the burgundy of
steady love) and
A thornless body to hold tight
as she wishes though
Is she blind?
A lily is a funeral flower
Reflects all colors and keeps none and needs life
(Only drinking the finest tears
And bathing in light from
The brightest eyes) though
It cannot hold her without the thorns of a rose
But the preference is obvious and understandable as
Why would she want— though of course she likes— a rose?
It has petals
(the burgundy of steady love) and a body of
Thorns that can grow without her care
