I have asked:" How many days your country resisted Hitler?'
Silent. Then I continued:" Poland was conquered in 28 days, and for the same 28 days in Stalingrad, the Germans were able to capture only a few houses. Denmark surrendered in exactly one day.And the whole of Europe was subdued in the three months.. And our soldiers released it. What a price! Millions of lives of Soviet soldiers left for the release of Europeans from the Nazis."
But Europe would prefer to forget."
Of course, the war involved not only one Russia - were other countries that have made great contributions. But the way people try to erase my legacy out of the world history, just insulting.
Super SallyNarrator: The Island Of Sodor has a lot of amazing places that all of The Fat Controller's engines love.More Like This
There's Misty Island...
And the Sodor Suspension Bridge...
But the most amazing place of all, is the Sodor Search And Rescue Center.
It's the home of Rocky, Harvey, Harold, Butch, Belle, Flynn, Fire Engine Sam, and Sam's breakvan, Joker.
One day, Thomas was visiting the Rescue Center and taking to the team when Jarrod steamed by, pulling a heavy goods train. He was very exhausted and cross.
Thomas: Hello, Jarrod. You look tired.
Jarrod: *annoyed* You think?? I mean, what does it look like to you? Now, come on, Thomas, stop gossiping in the sun when there's work to be done. And lend a wheel, too, please.
*Thomas gets very annoyed when Jarrod leaves*
Narrator: Later, at Knapford Station, Thomas was talking to Jarrod.
Jarrod: I'm sorry for snapping at you, Thomas, but I had a very heavy load, and I was losing steam.
Thomas: That's okay, J

Narrator: Of all the engines on the Island Of Sodor, there are some very special engines. Belle is one of them. She fights fires, and patrols the line, looking for signs of trouble.
Everyone liked Belle. Some say that she's very beautiful and brave. And she’s proud to be a blue fire engine, which makes her feel very special to others, and to herself.
One day, Sir Topham Hatt came to see Belle, just as she returned to the Rescue Center after fighting a fire at a shunting yard.
Sir Hatt: Belle, I am pleased with your work today. Because you have fought many fires, alone and with this team, I have decided to give you your very first "special" special.
Belle: *excitedly* Yes, sir!
Sir Hatt: First, you are to go to the Steamworks for an overhaul, and to have a new coat of paint. I'll explain the rest to you, once I get there.
Narrator: Belle was excited.
Belle: *excitedly* Yes, sir! Thank you sir!

They even enjoy having days off, from a hard day’s work, whether they’ve earned it, or when they need it, after too much work.
But one day, there was a problem.
Fire Engine Sam and Belle were at the Steamworks for repairs. It had been a long, hot summer, and the two engines were feeling overworked, longing for some time off.
Sir Hatt: I know you all have done a marvelous job at the Rescue Center for the last 2 ½ years, and I’m pleased with all your brave firefighting work. But still, it feels as though we need another engine, not for fighting fires, but helping out in disasters.
Narrator: Just then, and idea came to Belle.
Belle: Then, sir, I think I know just the engine required for this. You need my twin sister, Bianca, the Red Cross Engine.

Narrator: The Arlesdale engines on Sodor enjoy their work. But sometimes, there’s little work they can do, whether it’s transporting passengers or goods. And with Frank being the only diesel, the engines hoped a new one would one day come and help, during its visit.
One busy day, Bert, Mike and Rex were working at the hopper. A load of stone was needed to mend the roads at Ffarquar’s level crossing. Even with his new shape and looks, poor Bert was feeling overworked, longing for rest. Mike was rude and unsympathetic, and he even sang about it.
Mike: Poor, poor Bert, he works and complains, while the rest of us pull our passenger trains!
Narrator: Rex was furious about this.
Rex: That wasn’t funny, Mike! You shouldn’t be so rude to someone who’s overworked, and unable to handle it.
Narrator: Bert agreed.
Bert: I should have known I’d once again get no sympathy from a red engine li

One day, Sir Topham Hatt had news of a special for Jarrod.
Sir Hatt: Jarrod, I need you to bring a special to the Mr. Percival’s engines. Mr. Percival is planning to restore the ruined castle that runs along the Narrow Gauge rails, crossing the river.
Jarrod: Of course, sir. I won’t let you down, and I’ll go straight there.
Narrator: Jarrod left his shed, and then he went straight to the docks. When he was coupled up to his train, he set off straight for the Skarloey Railway.
Along his journey, and because he was taking what looked like a disused route, he saw a junction that looked covered in vines and plant growth.

Sir Hatt: Jarrod, I have a special job for you.
Jarrod: I like special jobs, just like any other engine. So, what is it, sir?
Sir Hatt: I need you to help Thomas, James and Salty at the docks. There’s going to be a lot of work to do, arranging trucks. Then, when and once you finish working there, and if on time, I need you to take Thomas’s place at the harbor, bringing freight cars of fish.
Narrator: Jarrod was excited for the first part of his first special, but not the second one.

They also like to cause mischief and trouble to a selected few engines, such as Diesel, Oliver, and sometimes the big engines, too, resulting in derails and accidents.
One day, after being in an accident with some trucks, Sir Topham Hatt came to see Henry at the Steamworks.
Sir Hatt: Henry, I know that you and the other engines have often had accidents like this, and that the trucks have been causing trouble. But though we can't do with or without them, we just have to make the best of a bad situation.
Henry: I know, sir. I just wish there was another engine to help with the express, as well as the freight runs around the island.
Narrator: Suddenly, Sir Topham Hatt's face lit up like a light bulb.
Sir Hatt: Henry, I think you've just given me an idea.
Narrator: Sir Topham Hatt had assigned Murdoch to take Henry
