Snow: Sherlock x ReaderThe snow was falling thick and fast. You watched the flakes flutter down and pile up on the inches that had already stuck. In your opinion snow was best enjoyed when you were warm and currently you sat snuggled in a blanket drinking hot chocolate with all the toppings. Someone knocked on your door or you thought they did. Deciding it ignore it you pulled the blankets closer and set your mug down. There it was again, a short rap on your front door.More Like This
“Open the door (Name) I know you are home.”
The masculine voice confirmed your thoughts and you deduced it was Sherlock standing on your doorstep in the cold. Deciding to be kind you shuffled over and opened the door letting him in along with a cold blast of air. Snow clung to his brown curls and flakes decorated the shoulders of his coat. Without a word to you Sherlock removed his coat and shoes before making himself at home on your sofa.
“Do you mind? A simple thank you would have been nice.”
“Thank you, what f
Sickness: Sherlock x Reader (request)You were sick, properly sick to the point of being unable to move or do anything. Currently you were spread out on John’s and Sherlock’s sofa covered in a blanket with a worried John standing over you. He thought you would be ok and it was only a bad bout of flu. This was the good news; the bad news was John was going to work so Sherlock was going to be looking after you. After many bribes from John Sherlock had reluctantly agreed to babysit you. Unable to protest you watched John leave and Sherlock looked at you.More Like This
Opening your mouth to speak proved a huge error as Sherlock seized the opportunity to shove a thermometer in your mouth and wrapped an extra blanket around your shoulders. As the quickly as the thermometer had appeared it was gone, Sherlock jotted down the reading and sat in the armchair facing you. Your head started to spin so you leaned back and shut your eyes, missing the worried expression that past over Sherlock’s face.
There you were, a woman who faced
Sherlock x Reader Chapter 7The journey home was silent. Sherlock was clearly agitated by Mycroft’s warning, not that you had any idea who Mycroft was. You were dropped off at your own address and watched the black car pull away. Slowly it dawned on you that somehow you were involved in something that could turn out to be dangerous. Unable to sleep or think of any other than the case you hailed a cab and returned to the morgue, hoping to find something to distract you.More Like This
Upon entering the sterile environment you shrugged off the borrowed jacket and walked towards the slab. The same body lay there and you looked over it again, making sure that you had not missed anything. Why this man, you thought aloud, what was so special about him? The body gave you no new clues which left you frustrated. Picking up the black suit jacket you left, clicking the lights off behind you.
You pressed your nose against the jacket and sharply inhaled. It was a mix of lingering whiskey and woody cologne. All it did was reminde
Sherlock x Reader Chapter 6You followed Sherlock through the streets of London all the while believing the strange looks in your direction were due to Sherlock, as you had not realised that you still wore your scrubs. He paid you no attention just occasionally looking over his shoulder to check you were still there, you found yourself running to match his light jog. All of a sudden Sherlock stopped and you managed to do the same just in time in order to prevent yourself bumping into him. Turning to see why you had stopped you caught sight of Sherlock’s eyes narrowing as they fell upon a black, expensive looking car. The door opened and Sherlock walked towards it leaving you standing on the pavement looking slightly confused. Just before entering the car he turned and looked back at you.More Like This
“Keep up (Name). Get in the car.” With that he ducked his head and entered the vehicle.
Shrugging your shoulders you followed him, hoping he knew what he was doing. All ready inside the car was a young woman who
Sherlock x Reader Chapter 5After much muttering to yourself the dissection was finally complete. Remaining in your scrubs you sat down to type up the report when Sherlock appeared. Completely at home in the morgue he pulled on a pair of gloves and headed for the cadaver. He picked up the body’s left arm and inspected the underside of it.More Like This
“That’s it. Please go ahead and touch my dead body.”
You were possessive of those who resided in your morgue as it was your job to look after them for their family. Sherlock lowered the limb and scowled at you, annoyed at being told off. Instead he walked around the body before raising his eyebrow at you. He was waiting for you to confirm his earlier deduction.
“You were right, partially. The cause of death was cyanide poisoning, the toxicology reports confirm that. But the bruising on his wrist occurred a few days previously. He was in a fight and broke a couple of ribs; the whole thing is detailed in his medical records.”
You had moved
Sherlock x Reader Chapter 4Sherlock looked at you whilst you fiddled with the hem of your shirt, refusing to lift your gaze to reach his. Inside his head thoughts were whizzing around – did you buy your degree, were you joking, were you really that unable to form a hypothesis?More Like This
“What? It’s the truth, he died. I don’t know how it happened as I haven’t done a post mortem and you haven’t told me what you think.”
Sherlock’s face was blank as he continued to stare at you. Footsteps thundered up the stairs and he grabbed your wrist dragging you behind him as he left the room. He kept his grip as he pulled you down the stairs and past the police team; bizarrely no one paid any attention to either of you except Donovan. Once outside you ducked under the police tape that was still there and headed for John. John looked at Sherlock expectantly.
“Well as our astute colleague pointed out he died. Cause of death poisoning. Cyanide probably judging from the sweet almond sme
Sherlock x Reader Chapter 3You spent the entire journey staring at the road and ignore the silent conversation that was taking place between John and Sherlock. When the taxi finally stopped outside a modern block of apartments Sherlock leaped out without thanking the taxi drivers, leaving both you and John to thank him profusely.More Like This
Black and yellow tape marked out the police perimeter and Sherlock stood next to it whilst arguing loudly with an attending officer. A scowl formed on his face and he muttered to himself, you were pretty sure the word idiot passed over his lips more than once. Both you and John walked up to the sulking older man whose attention was firmly fixed on the retreating officer. When he felt that the interfering man was out of the way he ducked under the police tape and merely gestured for the pair of you to follow before he dashed into the building via the front door.
Before you could talk yourself out of following you copied Sherlock’s actions and a minute or so later found yourself in

The habit of sticking the post to the mantelpiece with a knife he discovered on the very first day. The emergency pack of cigarettes concealed in a small Persian slipper behind a stack of books took a while longer (It was unopened; much to Sherlock's pride the detective was doing remarkably well with quitting smoking.) The fact that, when Sherlock has exhausted himself with a case, his sleep is silent but on the rare occasions when he sleeps just for the sake of it he snores like a particularly troublesome drain unblocking took still longer to discover.
John had thought that he had found out all that there was to know about the detective in the near two years since he had first moved in with Sherlock. Although, he willingly admitted with a great deal of amusement, today had most definitely proved him wrong.
He had learnt three things today. One- You should never

It was your going to be your birthday. Sherlock wanted to do something special for you because, quite frankly, without you he probably would have died from overdose by now. He checked off things, and crossed things off in his mind palace,
"A card? Should get one even though it is cliché. A present? Of course, but what? Hugs? well maybe I'm not a very good with that sort of thing. Kissing? I don't know. A trip somewhere?" He thought to himself as moved metal pictures around in his Mind Palace board.
You walked into the Living room where Sherlock was sitting on the couch. You smiled at him brightly, knowing that he was deep in thought about something. You knew that your birthday was coming up but you didn't know if Sherlock would remember or even care; he was very unpredictable. His head shot up and he smiled at you,
"Hello dear, could you make me some tea please?"
You nodded and walked into the kitchen. He actually said please; that surprised
