Carefully slipping out of his jacket, he laid it across his bed and lowered the little human onto it. Why was it so difficult to do it a gentle manner? He had never thought about how difficult it was to handle humans. Every movement his hands made seemed to be enough to hurt her.
Luckily, his parents were fast asleep by that hour, so he had plenty of time to gather whatever medical supplies he needed from the cabinets. With a lingering look at the minuscule form on his bed, he backed out of the room.
