Daydreams of nightmares and fantasies
Bundled up into whirlwinds with no one in between
I thought about catching the starlight on my tongue
But the dangerous hope and agony caught up in the focus of tomorrow
quelled any sort of wish that I could capitalize on the reality of who I thought you were
When I look into the mirror of tomorrow I wonder what it is that I thought I'd see
Those bespectacled wishes that I cataloged so carefully revealed nothing
And I was left adrift on a sea of confusion, hoping that someday it would all make sense
The grand scheme of a master copy that I had yet to come and see
None of it fit for reality of course, because that would mean facing the abject truth that I was nothing more than a fantasy..
Perhaps that's all we are in the grand scheme of the universe, passing ships that barely see the lights in the distance
I had thought perhaps that I was more than that...
The black hole that was left behind speaks to a different theor
Message for the futureLightning flashed illuminating a silhouette racing through the trees. Flame embers seemed to flash as a shadow flicked in response chasing after the runner. Another flash and her auburn hair seemed to glow bright against the darkness, her skin stark against the background.More Like This
The shadow of a man flickered in and out in pursuit. She darted left and right as if feinting trying to get the flickering shadow to make a mistake in following, as she seemed to dance upon the ground to a rhythm that only the two of them seemed to understand. The rain a soft backdrop against the race taking place in the foreground. Her grey eyes darting ahead as his seemed to be seconds behind. They continued at speed across the forest in the dusk of a summer storm.
His form seemed to flicker like a shadow against her light not quite taking a shape but still ever present nearby. She didn't look back but her movements showed a sense of purpose that the form following was attempting to keep up

For those who know me well
The truth will unfold

No, You Don't Know It AllYou don't fucking get itMore Like This
You don't see things that way I do
You don't always understand
And most of the time
You don't at all
So don't tell me that
You know me
Because you fucking don't
And that's a good thing
Because if you understood me
Every thought and fiber in my body
You'd be horrified

"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up."
- Neil Gaiman
"I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close."
- Pablo Neruda
"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.
A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live
A Withering SailHe hungers notMore Like This
For what the ocean may yield
As his eternity winds down
Trudging slow toward its final hour
Sways atop the bustling tide
Creaking and moaning
Her bones rusted and brittle
Tired from her long way
Courting generations shore to shore
Holds steady at the helm
With only the lapping waves
To ease his battle hardened earlobes
White locks flutter
As the high noon star crumbles
Disintegrating, into a cool blistering purple
But the ages dragged on
With a glare of hopelessness
Weighted by the open, the vast and empty
Gem encrusted nights
No longer blanket the shuttering vagabond
With drained pupils fixed forward
And his frail chattering limbs, guiding the helm
But he does not levy an inch

I'm Soaring Now
This is a different level of fear
It's wounding my truth and morality
It's strong enough to bring me here
On the edge of life- peering over to serenity
It's not impossible to grasp
But it's typical to assume
The last breath is the fact
That after death- peace will follow soon
Countless flashing memories
Ready to be set free
From this skin of...treachery
My scars peel off
Erased from my sight
The remains become soft
So this is what...innocence feels like
Destiny is somehow connected
Fate deems to be natural
The circle of the two is perfected
The beginning to the end is...peaceful
I offer and accept my own form of mercy
Before I miss out on forgiving the vulnerable side of me
Splitting and fusing fragments of calming memories
I would like to believe my life was somehow worthy

Written for a WeddingI must endeavor to convey with my words upon this dayMore Like This
the depth of feeling of which I feel, make it seem, true- real.
Ah my friends look here to the groom and bride here now by my side
I cannot express with ease my love but I may say they are beloved.
Take note happy couple of those who have come
they are proof that you are loved.
You sir shall marry my friend see now her happy grin?
you make her smile and do silly things
from the moment you've meet till you exchanged rings
but enough of this let me try to spit out words
all I want is to say to my friend- you are love may your life never end.
Yet I think more perhaps should suffice, more should -may be heard!
King of the ForestThere lies an ocean of gold that resembles a field of wheatMore Like This
where a constant cold chill chases away the heat
it is a wondrous land that lies near pale trees
it is quite grand and lays plainly for all to see
in this place stands an old deer, regal and very tall
his feet move with careful grace, stamp, rise, and fall
upon his strongly held head is a crown covered in felt
and though it is never said he is prized for rack and pelt
he is a deer which none can touch nor any kill
standing boldly near hunters who hide in small hills
yet no matter how close the king decides to venture
no hunter no man can quite bring himself upon him to injure
so the king of the forests resides in a clearing of gold
left to his own in quite pride to grow, still, very old.
