A Platinum Smile - Chapter 1 Part 1I tapped my foot impatiently, waiting for Kyoji to arrive. The dude was 2 minutes late! As I fumed to myself, I heard footsteps down the path to Twinleaf, our hometown. I glanced up to see Kyoji, out of breath from running here.
“Too slow Kyoji! Hahaha!” I laughed, poking him in the ribs and making him wince. He was quiet as usual, with that big smile of his that made me want to charge him a billion yen for looking so dumb.
“Ok here’s the plan. We’re gonna go over to Sandgem, and get ourselves some Pokémon. It’s right over there, so we can get our Pokémon in no time flat!” I pounded my fist into my hand and pointed in the direction of Sandgem. Kyoji’s eyes widened, and he shook his head and pointed at the grass.
“Aw you’re worried about some tall grass? Psh, don’t sweat it! If we run as fast as we can, there’s no way we can be attacked!” I grabbed his wrist, and backed up to give myself room for

"ZAK!" I yelled. Still no answer. "Dang that guy, he'd be late to his own funeral!" I stomped in a circle, fuming to myself. Zak Saturday was my greatest friend in the world, and I, Amanda Basurto and having only my uncle, think he is precious to me. Very precious. Lately, however, I've been feeling a bit under the weather. I asked him to meet me at my house at 7pm, to talk. But that idiot was 30 minutes late!
"ZAAAAAK SATURDAY!!!" I screamed into the night sky. He was making me really mad now. Clouds formed above my small house, and winds tossed my raven colored hair. Controlling the elements wasn't hard for me, since I'd had that power since I was born.
"You called?" I spun around. Zak was sitting on the top of a lamppost, with a small and smug grin. He twirled his Claw in the air, his black eyes boring into mine. Sighing, I nodded. "Yes your highness. I need your opinion on something." He jumped down, and his smile became sympathetic and kinder.

K, sorry it took sooo long to update, my comp was acting dumb again.
Important fact: *blah blah blah* is whatever Zak's thinkin at the moment.
Bunyips were everywhere! "There isn't just one cryptid, there are thousands of them!" Francis gasped, and reached for his shock collar. I smacked his hand down, and glared. "These guys are friendly, got it?" I told him in a mean tone. Francis nodded quickly, and put his hand to the side.
"But Zak, what about all the trouble they are causing?" Wadi pointed. The streetlights were dangling precariously over some parked cars, people in side cafes were getting swatted, and ordinary passerby were running for their lives.
"Sacre bleu! Je mappele Nikolas, je suis Francois. Tu t'appele comment?" (pronounced co mo^) Some ragged boy about my age ran up to us. He had a net, and a bulging bag that was struggling to get away from him. "Je mappele Zak, Tu as que

Inside the airship, Doc was chasing after Zak, "Come here Zak! I need to look at that necklace! Stay still!" His son kept running, "Then why do you have a freakin' bone saw!?" Doc stopped, and looked at the saw. Why did he have that thing? He didn't need it! The man went back over to his desk, and brought out a tazer instead. Zak's eyes widened again, "Oh, heck no! Nononono... You are NOT going to do that to me!" At that, Zak began running again. "Zak! Get back here! I need to experiment on that necklace!" Doc began running after Zak again with the tazer ready for when he catches his son.
Drew came into the room seeing the particularly unusual scene. Zak ran up to her, "MOM! You gotta help me! Dad's going to taze me!" Drew sighed, "Honey... You know your father. He'll do anything to experiment. Including tazing his own son. I can't do anything to stop him." Zak looked behind him, screamed, and began running again. Doc was on his tail.
