- One Week Later -
You awoke from your slumber, this past week your ankled was healing. You looked down to your ankle and removed the bandages. The bruise was gone. Since it was gone, you decided to test the ankle to see if you could walk. You slowly stood up. At first you stumbled a bit because you hadn't walked in awhile, but soon after, you could walk normally. The door opened to reveal Corporal.
At first you froze, You hadn't spoke to him ever since you confessed. He looked at you for a moment and stood there. He then took a couples steps toward you, but quickly you moved to the side, trying to avoid him. You then proceeded to walk to the door, but you stopped. "Thank you...for caring for me.." You then proceeded to walk out, but something grasped onto your wrist. You head whipped around to see the Corporal, only inches away from your face.

Your eyes opened groggily, as if you had just awoken from a thousand year slumber. Your limbs were stiff from dis-use. You stared at the ceiling rafters for a long while, basking in the fact that you were simply alive.
You looked around the room for a moment, noticing an empty chair and a flickering candle. The door was open just a few inches, allowing some light to filter into the room.
The window was open. A cool night breeze floated through the open window, making the curtains sway ever so gently. You shivered under your sheets, having an absence of clothes. You gently let your fingers wander over the bandages that encased your upper half. You gently prodded your side, hissing as renewed pain rushed through your torso.
